Deadline for tickets is fastly approaching October 11th.
Over the past year, the Middle Tennessee Veterans Coalition (MTVC) has worked hard to expand our support for veterans. Here are a few key highlights of what we’ve accomplished.
2nd Annual Veteran Town Hall: A successful event that brought veterans together with the VA, Veteran Health Administration, and other vital services to get the help and answers they needed.
Community Programs: We collaborate with local organizations to offer monthly opportunities for veterans to connect and engage, such as:
Military Coffee (2nd Saturday)
Military Meetup (3rd Thursday)
Military Movies (every Thursday)
Middle Tennessee Coalition Meeting (4th Wednesday)
Women Veterans Recognition Day: We proudly held our 2nd Annual Women Veterans Recognition Day celebration, honoring the contributions of our female veterans.
501(c)(3) Status: This year, we also completed the process of becoming a registered nonprofit, allowing us to better serve our veterans.
Looking Ahead: Next year, we’re excited to partner with the American Job Center to host a Veteran Job Fair in the Dickson area, connecting veterans with local job opportunities and employers.
As you can see, we’re making great strides in helping our veterans, but we can’t do it without the support of our community. That’s why this Gala is so important—it’s not just a fun event; it’s a way for us to raise the funds we need to continue these programs and launch new initiatives to support the brave men and women who served our country.
