FAQ's for the weekend:

-Can we bring our kayaks?
Yes! The kayak launch is open and ready! (We do not have kayak rentals.)

-Can I use my gas motor on the lake?
No. Walker Lake is trolling motor only. If you must use your gas motor to load your boat, you may start your motor close to the boat ramp and load.

-Can I swim?
No. There is NO swimming at the shore or from your watercraft.

-Can I keep the fish I catch?
Yes! Follow KY Fish & Wildlife fishing regulations. You must have a fishing license as well. We ask that you only take 12-15" bass as well.

-Can I bring my grill or have a fire?
No. We cannot allow grills or fires at this time. We are working on getting picnic grills and/or fire rings for the shelters.

With all of the rain this week the park is soft and muddy. Please DO NOT drive in grassy/muddy areas.

Getting closer to completion everyday! Here’s a sneak peek of our Grand Entrance. The 16’ barn doors close and open for that magical moment when the bride makes their first appearance in the ceremony. How Grand is that??!! 👰💍🤵

Hi everyone! Welcome to Private Pours. 😊

I haven’t made an introduction post yet. I’m sure many friends are wondering who is behind all of this!

My name is Hannah Pendle & this picture is my reason for anything I do in life. I’m happily married to my husband Montana (Tana) for 6 years. We have 3 beautiful children together, Ellie, Journi, & Nico. We live in Henderson & we love it! Probably won’t ever leave until we’re old! My most important event in my life are the ones my kids are involved in. I put family first always. I work hard & play harder with them. We love the beach & we love vacationing any chance we get! I like to stay pretty fit and in the gym when I can! Tana & I enjoy to have a mom&dad date night every once in awhile. We go to plenty of soccer games ballet recitals & any sport my little boy is in to that week.

My background is a lot of customer service! I’ve worked in the food industry since I was 15. Fast food places/ restaurants/ & once I turned 21 I turned to bars! I love a good margarita & my husband enjoys a well made old fashion. He got me into the industry when we met & I fell in love with him & the drinks 😜 I’ve tried many different career choices & I always found my way back to bartending. I love the atmosphere, I love serving and talking with people, & most importantly I love making drinks. I love learning about new drinks & shots as well!

I decided this year that I wanted to venture out in my own a little bit & start doing some private events! I’ve done multiple private events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries parties, & grad parties! Any kind of special private event I’m down for! I always come dress as the theme as well! I love to be involved in anything I can be! I love to help in whatever way I can.

I’ve always received wonderful feedback after events & would love to add your experience to my list of references! 😊 If you want to focus on the food & let me focus on the beverages, I think we’d make a great team 😎

We’ve not posted in a while because we are at the phase where things tend to go a bit slower as attention to every little detail makes for slow but steady work! What’s on your mind for wedding food? Sharing a good meal always brings people together and makes a wonderful memory! We are currently creating our catering menu! Soon our kitchen will be complete. We are happy to cater in house events AND , in addition, we will offer a variety of hot meals during the week as well as take & bake meals with wonderful HOME MADE desserts. Concrete on the wrap around porch is completed! Who doesn’t love a 16’ wide porch with a spectacular view?? The front of this building has 2 sets of 16’ sliding pocket doors for an open air feel and faces a pond with a water feature and quaint wooded area for beautiful photo opportunities!
The width of the porch allows ample seating and is even large enough for a covered ceremony. I also see Tea Parties taking place on the porch thanks to inspiration from my friend Tammy Carr ❤️

Progress on the interior and a question for everyone : Poplar trees from our farm are being cut & dried for the walls. The ceiling will have large wood beams that will give this beautiful building the WOW factor! The second picture is the opposite side of the venue that will become a beautiful beverage area with a cedar top bar. Stationed above this area with stairs leading up to it, will be our grooms “Treehouse” room. This is where I need your help! We have a 75” TV going into the grooms Treehouse and need opinions on a gaming system! What’s everyone’s favorite?? Hoping to get a good Black Friday deal today!
