Heads up!

We got a call today from a well-known wire service asking us to create a “pink and white arrangement with lilies and roses" for a shockingly low price. I politely declined. Premium flowers, skilled labor, and delivery, especially outside our city, aren’t free.

The rep then suggested we just do a Designer’s Choice instead. (Which, let’s be clear, is not what the customer ordered.) Oh, and they wanted us to include a note to the recipient wishing her a Happy Mother’s Day and apologizing for the late delivery - *four days* after Mother’s Day.

So not only are they late, they’re also not even trying to fulfill what the customer actually paid for.

This is exactly why you should always call your florist directly. You’ll get what you asked for, when you want it, and often for a better price. No middlemen. No nonsense.

Wowza! We can’t even begin to describe how full our hearts (and hands!) have been lately at Southeast Flower Company!!!

We just aired our VERY FIRST COMMERCIAL - a huge milestone that still has us reeling with excitement!! We’ve been blessed to get to showcase our work, designing lush arrangements for Houston Academy’s “tHe pArty” and their Middle School Awards Ceremony, plus adding floral flair to the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Person of the Year Luncheon and tonight's Youth Leadership Graduation Dinner!

And let’s not forget Mother’s Day, Teacher's Appreciation Week, Nurse's Appreciation Week, graduation, and prom ALL AT THE SAME TIME!! What a wild, beautiful, intense whirlwind!!! It was a huge success, and we are SO grateful for every single person who trusted us to create something special for their teachers, nurses, partners, graduates, moms, grandmas, and the mother figures they love.

All this while we’re still working behind the scenes to get our shop doors open consistently - we’re almost there, and it’s going to be SO worth the wait!!!

ALSO… we’re about to start hiring!!! If you know someone who’s dependable, creative, has a great attitude, and wouldn’t mind being surrounded by flowers all day, send them our way! We’re building something beautiful, and we’d love the right people to be part of it.

Happy Saturday, friends!

We wanted to give you a quick update:

Due to the wild weather this morning and having to pause for safety, our deliveries are running a bit behind. On top of that, our building took a hit and needed some immediate attention.

But don’t worry... we're still delivering the freshest flowers in the Wiregrass TODAY! If you were scheduled for a delivery, it’s still coming, it just might be a little later than planned.
