On April 20th, 2024, The Falls Weddings & Events celebrated a momentous occasion - our very first event. This remarkable day holds immense significance for us, and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The joy and fulfillment we experienced on this day confirmed our belief that venturing into the wedding industry was the right decision.

The highlight of this extraordinary event was the 30th vow renewal ceremony of a cherished couple in our family, Joel and Christa Orn. Being able to not only host but also attend this milestone celebration was a privilege. Witnessing the love and commitment between Joel and Christa throughout their journey was truly special.

As we reflect on this remarkable day, we extend our warmest wishes to Joel and Christa for another 30 plus years of happiness together.

The Falls is honored to have been given the opportunity to host the Osceola Medical Center’s annual Gala and assist in supporting an amazing cause.

Join us for an evening dedicated to enhancing mom and baby care at our Annual Gala. This year, we aim to fund essential equipment like a new infant fetal heart monitor, with each contribution helping us reach our goal of $67,000 to acquire four new units.

This past Sunday we were fortunate to have my very talented friend, Abby Prokott, pull together a phenomenal group of vendors, photographers and models for a stylized shoot. I have so much appreciation for Abby and all the hard work and time she spent to help create and facilitate this amazing event and help us capture some great material.

First thank you is to Tierney & Katie of Blue Beauty Coordination for providing decor, set-up and assisting with the day of timeline. Tierney really stood out to me when I was searching for a coordinator to assist with the transition of becoming a new venue owner. She will be supporting us and several of my couples in 2024. If you are looking for a Day of Coordinator, look this team up!

I met Cindy of Northern Style & Co in 2020 when her team did my bridal party’s hair and make-up. I was impressed by her talent, professionalism and fair pricing. I haven’t stop recommending her to other future brides since that day. Cindy & Tiah happily agreed to glam our brides up for the shoot and I am so glad they did! Both models were absolutely gorgeous!

When Sarah and Taylor of Modern Eclectic Events showed up, I was blown away with all the gorgeous pieces they brought. From tableware, aisle decor, stunning bouquets and arch flowers and my all time favorite piece, the largest floral wall I have ever seen in my life! I barely got to chat with them because they were so efficient with set up and tear down!

Karina and I have chatted a couple times over the last few months. Her and her husband have started a new venture, Crafted Coffee Co, and they have been a hit! I was so glad to see her in action. I could tell her attention to detail when she was stamping each cup with their logo, a personalized feature that I loved!

Two engaged couples agreed to get all prettied up on a cold Sunday and of course take lots of outdoor pictures. Jordan Prokott & Tay Jacobsen and Lucas Keiner & Tiffany Curtis each brought something different and beautiful to each set, we couldn’t have done it without them. Can’t forget the awesome illuminated LOVE sign that Lucas & Tiffany brought! Illumination Rentals

Lastly, all the amazing photographers and videographer that came to capture these beautiful moments. I had goosebumps watching them in action, and collaborating together to create different poses. I cannot wait to see everyone’s albums. Stay tuned over the next few week for pictures!

As my husband and I near the end of completing our wedding and event venue vision, I look back at all the amazing projects and it’s hard to pick which one was my favorite. Today’s project is definitely up there. Kaylie and Chris with Studio 1 Decor happily agreed to design and install permanent lighting and draping. From beginning to end of the experience they were so amazing at executing the romantic feel we wanted to accomplish. I truly appreciate all their help!

We have been hard at work this summer getting The Falls ready for our 2024 wedding season! Many projects are nearing completions and several thanks need to be given!

First thank you is to my husband’s family for the countless hours they have spent insulating, installing and painting trim for roughly 25 windows.

A huge thank you to my husband for installing bathrooms stalls, staining beams, finishing the loft flooring and bringing my vision of the perfect bridal suite to life. Thank you for dealing with my never ending wishlist!

Everyone who visits The Falls will be thanking Aerotek Heating & Cooling for installing the A/C! They will be keeping future guests comfortable for these hot summer nights!

We are getting so close to completion, thank you to everyone who has reached out and supported us! We are more than happy to provide tours to anyone who has interest in celebrating their upcoming event with us!

As we eagerly prepare for our first wedding season at The Falls, we are envisioning how we want that experience to look like for our couples. Several exciting projects have been in the works over the last couple weeks. Bathrooms and the bridal suite have been nearing completion. Our first order of tables and chairs arrived and the chandelier went up. We have been very appreciative of the great response from couples touring while under construction and very excited for our 2024 booked couples!

We offer year round packages for weddings small to large! Our packages include set up for an outdoor ceremony by the pond or on our large patio. A beautiful bridal suite with individual stations for you to prepare with friends and family. Guys we haven't forgot about you, groom suite coming soon! Details matter and the chiavari chairs we selected will give your wedding the elegant look you always envisioned. As one future bride said, "the chairs matter" and we couldn't agree more. One or two bartenders will be provided depending on your package to serve your guests their favorite drinks. We offer services ranging from cash bar, open bar or a combination bar to fit your needs.

The Falls is located in the small town of St. Croix Falls, on the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Minutes away from the St. Croix River and Interstate Park which if you choose to do offsite pictures, we highly recommend this location. St. Croix Falls offers lodging, dining and even a beautiful winery, all within minutes away.

Fun fact about our history. My husband and I were married in 2020, and when seeking our perfect venue and vendors, we really learned a lot about the industry. Newly married we thought, let's build a wedding venue it will be so much fun. When we saw the "big red barn" as it was referred to for quite some time, we knew it was the place. It had the barn look outside but yet the benefit of never being a working barn and unfinished inside. This gave us the freedom to finish the inside as we pictured. Location, nearby lodging and size were all important and "big red barn" checked all the boxes.

In hindsight, were we prepared to build a venue, no. Has there been challenges, yes. Things took longer than expected with adding two beautiful girls to our family, and working full time jobs. We couldn't have done any of it without the help and support of our family. We have learned so much and given so much thought to what our future couples want. We are happy to provide our future couples with a functional venue and location, transparent pricing and a smooth experience leading up to and on the big day! We truly look forward to working with you!
