When you plan your elopement outdoors you never know what the weather's going to be especially in December ...but this day had the magic of fog and mist on Laurel Lake. No extra decorations needed.. nature provided the perfect backdrop! Their dog Thomas was just the cutest!
It was wonderful to work with their fabulous photographer

This summer we made some upgrades to the Cherry meadow and Shabin . I saw these benches at a Las Vegas wedding chapel last year and finally found them online. They are a sturdy improvement from the original barnwood benches we started with 2 years ago. I am excited to decorate the Shabin porch for fall with the new brown stain preserving the live edge hemlock.

When Deanna & Jesse first starting dating, he took her to Mt.Pisgah Altar lookout . Immediately, she knew this is where she would want to be married and fast forward to today and her dream came true. We were grateful for the sunny weather but didn't get to enjoy the stunning view with the smoke from the Canadian wildfires. Steven & Erin came to Celebration Ridge for their elopement complete with personal vows and cupcake smashing. 🧁 Glad they did that last part outside. 🤣 Her brother & his gf, who is also the bride's lifetime BFF were there to celebrate with them.
