These amazing tulips are currently coloring and getting pulled for Valentine’s Day. I always bring the first of each variety to bloom into my house and watch them color up and get to enjoy their beauty in my home. Picture are Louvre, Purple Crystal, La Belle Epoque and Agrass Parrot.

4715 Kestrel Dr. 27713. Flower shed will open Saturday morning around 10:00am. Our A/C unit it broken so the door will be left open for a breeze. If it gets too warm, tulips will move out onto a table under the shade. We will have wrapped bouquets, mason jars and posies.

Our Valentines Day tulip bouquets and tulip vase arrangements are packed with tulips grown right here on our farm in south Durham. To pre-order DM or you can order directly on our website at www.onefungalflowers.com. We will have pick up from our south Durham flower shed Thursday 2/13 and Friday 2/14 and will also be offering delivery 2/13 and 2/14 for additional charge. The shed will also have cards and possibly some other additional goodies for your loved one.

Day 11- Tulip of the day and the next of my hydroforced tulips that should be blooming: Double Shake- This lavishly layered hybrid is ivory with an interior yellow base and petal edges that are artistically edged in magenta-pink. Tulip Class: Peony Flowering (Double Late).

Beautiful snowy morning here at One Fun Gal Flowers. Hoping enough of the snow melts before we have to put the tunnels back up for freezing temperatures tonight. Kids had a lot of fun playing and sledding.

Day 10- Tulip of the day: Mondial- The snow-white blooms of Double Peony Tulip Mondial have the advantage of being (almost) as visible at night as they are prominent during the day. The abundant petals and perfect form of each flower contribute to a striking display that will be magnificent in both elegant landscapes and flower arrangements.

Day 10- Tulip of the day: Crystal Star. The Crystal Star Fringed Tulip is sure to be the Star of your landscape in mid to late Spring. The bright, glowing yellow petals feature fringed edges creating a beautiful textural element to your garden. For best results, plant in full sun with well drained soil. Standing up to 18” tall, this variety is a perfect compliment to a wide variety of Spring bulbs, including hyacinth, daffodils and allium.

Day 9- Tulip of the day: Finola. This new double late tulip is slightly taller than Angelique and the flowers are a bit larger. The color of the petals also intensifies over time, shifting from cream and very pale pink to a gorgeous rose pink. Finola’s ruffled, peony-like blossoms are a dream for flower arranging. Attractive in the garden and also a great choice for containers. Blooms late to extend the tulip season.
