Tents going up in Geneva’s Wheeler Park today for the Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival this weekend. Come on out, it runs all day Sunday and Monday with multiple stages and Grammy nominated folk music acts, should be beautiful weather for a music fest!

We’re always posting photos of our biggest and most impressive event setups, but what about the smaller events? Well we’ve got you covered there too!

We carry 10x10 pop-ups as well as 10x10, 15x15, and 10x20 high peak tents for your more intimate events. At just $85 for our 10x10 heavy duty pop-up (customer setup only) or $170 for a fully installed 10x10 high peak, you don’t have to break the bank to provide a beautiful canopy for your next event.

Need us to set up a tent on asphalt? Maybe for a company picnic, parking lot sale, or other corporate event? No problem, we have two options for you…

Option 1: Stake the tent as usual right through the asphalt. This is a very common practice and we’ll even repair the stake holes afterwards if you like for a small fee. You’ll hardly even know there was a hole there!

Option 2: Weigh the tent down with concrete blocks. We follow the industry standard of 10 pounds of weight per square foot of tent and use the “Block & Roll” system to easily move and place those heavy 500 lb. blocks. There is an upcharge for this service.

So it’s your choice, just let us know what works for you and we’ve got you covered!

As a tent rental company, we’re usually the first ones in and last ones out for the events we serve, so we rarely get to see the final product after all the other vendors get in to do their thing.

But yesterday, we had to make a quick visit just a couple hours before our client’s wedding and we got to see how beautiful everything looks once the florists, decor folks, caterers, and everyone else gets to add their special touch to the event. Looks fantastic!

Here’s our 30x60 Century tent that went up yesterday for a wedding this weekend in Grayslake. This tent is a great size for mid-sized events of around a hundred guests or so with plenty of room for a dance floor, buffet tables, and a bar. This particular setup features window sidewalls on two sides and pole drapes on the remaining two sides.

We feel lucky to have made it though those crazy storms last night with just one bent tent pole. Everything else is fine.

This tent was sort of in a worst-case-scenario situation, it was in a wide open concrete parking lot so we couldn’t stake it in the ground and instead used concrete blocks to secure it. 4000 pounds of blocks and those winds just lifted the blocks on one corner like it was nothing! Below is the before and after photos of our blocks, you can see how they were setup right next to each other yesterday and the wind last night managed to move them completely out of position. This is why we use so much weight on our tents, even two tons of concrete is nothing compared to the power of Mother Nature!

Yup, as usual, more tents up for this week, but the big news is that we bought a new truck! We’re super excited to add this vehicle to our fleet, this will eventually allow us to double our weekly capacity by running two simultaneous setup crews each week to bring you even more gorgeous tent and event rental setups!

It was a beautiful day today to put up our 40x60 Anchor pole tent right along the Fox River in McHenry! We love getting this one up, even if we were a bit short staffed for today’s install with only 4 of us, 2 guys and 2 gals. But we got it done and it looks great!

We were down in the South Shore neighborhood yesterday getting this 36’ round tent set up for the Labor of Love Apostolic Church. Now they’re all ready to serve their community this summer with their outdoor Sunday services under this beautiful tent!

Well, this weekend’s wedding was certainly interesting! It’s was a gorgeous setting at a horse farm for our largest tent, but then the rains came, and it didn’t stop. For hours and hours and hours it rained, and the entire field became a giant mud pit.

Sure looked great beforehand though!!!

Busy Memorial Day weekend for us! Tents up in Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Port Barrington, and South Elgin, and a 16x24 dance floor set up for a wedding in a Rosemont hotel. Have a wonderful long weekend everyone!

Despite “tents” being in our name, that’s not all we do! Here’s one of our portable dance floors set up this weekend for a lucky young man’s hip-hop themed birthday party at Emmett’s Brewing Company in West Dundee. We love this look!!

Heartland is out for a good cause this morning! We set up a 20x20 and 10x10 high peak, lots of tables and chairs and several pop ups to support “Step Forward to Cure TSC.” Very happy we could help out my high school friend Patrick McKeough and everyone involved in this great organization!

Light weekend this weekend for us, we’ve got a 15x15 high peak up in a Wilmette backyard and a slew of cocktail tables and our Serpentine Bar delivered and ready for a neighborhood cocktail party in a beautiful Hinsdale neighborhood (no pics of that one). This week is the calm before the storm….things are gonna start getting crazy real soon!
