First and foremost, ALLAHU AKBAR!!!!!

While under the most UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES imaginable, I was able to execute a 500 person catering event that has been in the works for months!!!!!!
—
But, I could NOT pull this off without 3 DIFFERENT SETS of STAFF!!!!!!!!!!

Staff 1 to help prep while I cooked everything (over 70 pans of food, plus dessert and platters)

Staff 2 to help make sure all of the food was removed from the oven on time and then transported to the venue on time

Staff 3 to show up at the venue to setup and serve on my behalf

Even in the midst of the storm, Allah (swt) is still merciful!!!
—
This is an appreciation post to every single person who made sure I was able to execute this catering event with excellence !!!!

About a week or so ago, I came across a copy of my RESIGNATION letter in a folder that I was “JUST” about to throw out and then I took the time to read it and decided to keep it!!
—
Here’s why: this letter is almost 10 years old!!!!! Do you hear me, that mean I took a BET ON ME and WON!!!!
—
The 3rd slide is of a friend of mine (Deana) and myself. This was a Friday and Deana, her daughter and myself were giving back to the Sierra House for a HOUSE HERO event I coordinated. Fast forward, it was in this very moment, at this very time, I decided I was going to quit my job (there is a LONG BACK STORY to this but this is the short version)

I told my good good good friend what I was doing and everything that was going on, she was able to print the letter out for me because my printer was not working at the time and the rest is HERstory (history)!!!!
—
As you can see September 11, 2015, I officially started to sell food from my home kitchen FULL TIME!!!!! Offering an array of salads that you are still able to order to this very day!!!!
—
It’s been a bumpy a$$ rollercoaster from MANY HIGHS to MANY LOWS … but it still remains: King Dia WAS Here!!!!
—
My only words for anyone who is toggling what to do next, just KEEP GOING!!!!!!! I promise, you will come out on top, even in the midst of confusion and uncertainty and plenty of doubt!
