Dress shopping can be exciting! Here are some pro tips on saying "Yes!" to your dream dress:
1. Find your style.
Is it Dreamy? Fun & Flirty? Elegant? Boho? Casual with a pair of Converse or Cowboy Boots?
2. Does your dress coordinate with your theme or time of year?
3. Start window shopping as soon as possible. Take someone with you.
4. Set a budget and stick with it. (We can be your budget conscious BFF.)
5. Don't get discouraged if you don't find the right dress immediately. You will find the right one!
6. If you can afford to have a reception dress, get it. Perks if it has pockets too.
7. Find a reputable seamstress. Some bridal boutiques don't offer alterations. Keep in mind that it will take a few fittings.
8. Allow time for delivery if your dress is a special order from outside the U.S.

We're feeling sentimental. It was four years when my husband proposed. We were living in Seattle at the time. Josh was serving in the U.S Navy. We flew back to PA for a few days during leave. He asked my close college friend to come to celebrate in NYC with us. She secretly knew he was going to propose that night. We had police es**rt us to where military members had access. The temperatures were below zero. We even debated going into a nearby pub instead of watching the ball drop outside.
We waited despite the weather. Just as they called the countdown, Josh, dressed in his dress blues, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. 🥰

We can still remember hearing Mariah Carey play and Neil Diamond sing his ballad of "Sweet Caroline". We also remember a group of ladies nearby shout, "OMG,THEY'RE GETTING ENGAGED!".
