Portmanteau have always been a regular future at Skye Trivia. In our fifth edition, “May the Fourth,” trolled Star Wars fans by having half the questions focus on other things, including categories on the word “May,” the word “fourth,“ the word “star,“ in the word “wars.“ but we also had a fair share of actual Star Wars questions like this one.

note: there will be doing no such shenanigans at the upcoming Worf & Data trivia. It will be Star Trek 100%!

Our next trivia event:

Skye Trivia now has its own night at Marigold Theater! And for our 7th edition our theme will be "Rainbows and Unicorns," including an exploration of bows, rain, corn, and all things uni-. Hosted by Elana Rosičková.

- This event is free.
- Questions and some visual clues are projected onto a screen.
- $50 gift certificate (or discount of your tab) to Marigold Theater to the winners, $25 gift certificate for 2nd place.
- Teams of any size, join at any time.
- Yes, you can bring takeout for dinner while you play.
- Beverages of all kinds available at the bar. Please tip your bartenders well!
- Popcorn Noir-inspired video projection lounge to follow.

This is a recurring monthly event. Marigold Theater is an accessible space. Masks optional.

The 4th Edition of Skye Trivia, on April 6, had a theme of “All Things Spring,” exploring both the season and the word “spring.”

The third edition of Skye Trivia was held March 2. With the theme “All Things March,” being about both the month of March and the word “march.” For the third time, “March of the Penguins” was used as an answer establishing it as a give away for regular attendees.

Our 2nd trivia event was on 2/7/23, themed "The Southern Hemisphere." It was the first to feature a projected slideshow.

The theme was inspired by a party we used to have during the depths of winter celebrating the fact that it's always summer somewhere. For the party we'd crank up the heat, decorate our house with summer motifs, and wear beach attire while enjoying food and music from anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere. In a nod to the theme, host Elana Rosičková wore a bikini to the event.

A little history: Skye Trivia began on January 4, 2023 at Marigold Theater with the theme “Winter,“. Identifying this image was one of the questions, but it was the only edition not to actually use a projector and screen. We just did the event as a trial run for fun without any serious intention of starting a new trivia series.
