A Chippewa Valley native, Jana grew up singing with her family as her father, Jon, played guitar, and extended her love of music by participating in various choirs and musicals while in school. When not singing along with karaoke (loud enough to “annoy” her roommate, of course), she works at Royal Credit Union as the Business Services Coordinator. Jana is looking forward to performing alongside her dad this summer as the duet band, ForAn Angel.

🎤🌟 Meet our contestants for "Voice of the Future"! 🌟🎤

Our next contestant is 𝗭𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 🩵

Zach “the singing trucker” has never strayed far from the Chippewa Valley. Born and raised in the valley, he found his voice singing karaoke at a family party at 6 years old. After high school, he never pursued singing unless it was to a steering wheel as a truck driver for Haas Redi Mix. It wasn’t until 2022 after a pandemic, a broken leg, and a midlife crisis that a friend’s husband was looking for a vocalist to form a band. They formed the band SHOVELHEAD and have been performing at bars around the Chippewa Valley.

Austin Marie Kruger is an Eau Claire native born and raised! She has two beautiful children and a Golden Retriever who rule her world. Alongside her family, She is a school social worker for the ECASD at South Middle School. Empowering the youth and families in our community is her purpose. Singing has been her other passion since she was a little girl. Being a mother and servicing our community has always been a priority for her. She's so excited to have the opportunity to share her voice!

🎤🌟 Meet our contestants for "Voice of the Future"! 🌟🎤

Our next contestant is 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗚. 🩵

Brady is 13 years old and has been performing starting around 6 years old singing for the residents at his grandpa's nursing home while his grandma would play the keyboard. He has been working very hard on his vocals for years across all genres from classic rock, hair bands, country, hip hop, and every form of metal you can imagine. Brady has been very blessed to share the stages with some amazing artists and has always taken a chance to perform, whether it is at a local karaoke night or an amphitheater. Music has been the best thing in his life and has gotten him through some very tough times.

🎤🌟 Meet our contestants for "Voice of the Future"! 🌟🎤

Our next contestant is 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗞𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 🩵

Emm K is an indie rock songwriter who started writing at 8 years old and wrote guitar accompaniment shortly after. Performing since her pre-teen years, her stage presence and her watercolor genre voice capture a wide audience. She has been the lead singer of the pristine cover band “Bear Creek Band” since 2022.

She has multiple released projects on streaming services and YouTube. This August she is fronting the high-energy rock band “ValleyKiL”. You can see their debut show at Volume One's “Sounds of Summer” and more. Voice of the Future will be Emm’s final performance in Wisconsin before she moves to Nashville this May.

Amanda Thompson is 38 years old from Mondovi. Her husband Brandon and her have 2 boys, Elliot (10) and Porter (7). Currently, she works part-time as a Medical Assistant at Marshfield Clinic while attending nursing school full-time at CVTC in Eau Claire. She has always had a passion for music, crediting her parents who surrounded her and her siblings with music throughout their lives.

She learned to play acoustic guitar from her dad in high school and learned the beauty and challenge of harmonizing from her mom. Music brings her so much joy. She hopes to pass the love and appreciation for it down to her boys, just as her parents did for her.

When she's not spending time with her kids and driving tractors with her dad, she enjoys singing Karaoke on the weekends with friends. Her kids are her life and she's ready to have a great time at VOTF showing everyone how to have fun on stage.
