The Eau Claire fireworks have been moved out of Carson Park essentially killing a long standing tradition. For many years, there was something to be said about the traditional summertime excitement of watching the Express game and grabbing a spot on the field afterwards and watching the fireworks as it was the best seat in the house! Footballs and frisbees tossed around, the smell of grilled burgers and dogs while waiting for the show to begin just had that certain summertime feeling. This is all gone now as the fireworks are being moved to high bridge. For everyone that is upset about this, you are not alone and this is the page where you can voice your opinions. Even though there’s not much we can do about it, we can take a stand and let ‘em know we are not on board with this. So instead of watching this “new” fireworks show, how about we just…don’t!
