Looking for a side hustle? Maybe a full time gig? Do you like working at the beach or in hotels and civic centers? Are you available to work on weekends? We are looking for several new team members to help us become the best we can be.

Paradise Beach Weddings is a growing New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater based Beach Wedding/Wedding Planner that has turn-key packages for weddings and receptions. We service all of Volusia County From Ormond Beach to New Smyrna and go as far as Palm Coast. We are a small, family owned business with extreme commitment to our clients and attention to detail.

We looking for staff to do wedding event work on the beach as well as staff to help setup and decorate receptions.

BEACH WEDDING EVENT JOB DUTIES:

- Loading and unloading pickup trucks/trailers
- Carrying items like chairs, bins, bamboo arches onto the beach
- Setting up chairs, flowers, bamboo arches onto the beach
- Breaking down all items at the end of events and loading back into pickup trucks/trailers
- Cleaning items if necessary (rain etc)
- Typical wedding event job time is 4-5 hours

Applicant Requirements:

- Must have valid drivers license, clean driving record, and your own transportation to work.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Must have strong attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.
- Must be over 18.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be willing to work some nights and some weekends.
- Reliable & Timely
- Professional & Positive Attitude (This is someone’s wedding, a very special event)
- Able to follow directions fast and efficiently
- Self-motivated

STARTING PAY:
$14/hour
Upon receiving your resume submission, we will contact you to schedule a brief phone interview. Once we get through all phone interviews we will schedule in person interviews.

🚗 BEACH DRIVING UPDATE: We have good news to share that our team has confirmed with beach safety today.
One-lane beach driving has re-opened in New Smyrna Beach for some areas. The cars are not allowed south of Flagler Avenue.
Beach ramps open: Crawford, Beachway, and Flagler Ave.
Water activities are allowed. The rip risk is low today, and moderate surf.
