This evening, our Miss Edinburg Queens attended Edinburg’s Texas Cook’Em and had the pleasure of awarding the winners. The fun continues this evening with fireworks and the Josh Abbott band.

Let’s celebrate our Mr. Edinburg 2024, Jamal Polley. He is a 2024 Robert Vela High School graduate. His High School football stats are impeccable and are highlighted on the UTRGV’s Football Sports; All-Valley Co- MVP and Offensive Player of the Year, District 15-5A Co-MVP Whataburger Super Team, also Mr. Texas Football (just to name a few). This is an amazing accomplishment at such a young age. Jamal ( #28) has committed to UTRGV’s very first Football 🏈 Team. He not only has become an ambassador, but a City of Edinburg Community Role Model for children to look up to. We are Extremely proud of you Jamal and we are here to support you and can’t wait to cheer you on that collegiate football platform.

Last night, our Miss Elite Edinburg 2024, Sonia Enriquez was a speaker as a domestic violence survivor at the Mujeres Unidas Candlelight Vigil honoring survivors and those we have lost.✝️ It was an emotional experience, and we encourage anyone who is going through this, to ask for help. Thank you to Miss Edinburg Ambassador, Carissa Sandoval and Ms. Edinburg, Crystal Peguero for supporting their sister queen, and supporting this cause.

We congratulate our All American City Girl 2024, Mia Lozano for all her amazing accomplishments. She Led her Sapphire Dance team as their MAJOR FOR THE 2023-2024 school year. Mia graduated from RVHS; a Sapphire (The Jewels of Edinburg)for 4 yrs (3 years leading her Team as an Officer). She was an All State dancer with TDEA, continues to dance with the All Star Senior Open Team at the World renowned Synergy Dance Academy in Edinburg/Pharr. Has participated at the Dance Summit and at Dance Worlds in Florida. Currently attending McLennan Community College in Waco. Was recruited as a Member of the Dance team and will be competing at the 2025 NDA College Nationals championship in April 2025.
GRANTED A FULL RIDE SCHOLARSHIP FROM McLENNAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

We are Celebrating our gorgeous Miss Edinburg 2024, Nazareth Garcia. She graduated top 10% of her class from J. Economedes High School. Nazareth also graduated high school with her Associate’s Degree in Math and will be continuing her studies at UTRGV; MAJOR: Economics and Minor: Finances. Nazareth is a Keyclub Scholarship Recipient as well as a Runway Fashion Model. We are honored to have Nazareth in our Royal Court. We thank you Nazareth Garcia for being an inspiration and an outstanding role model for our Beautiful City of Edinburg-Government.

The Mr. and Miss Edinburg Royalty Court had a great time supporting such a great cause. The month of September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the Kiwanis Club hosted a fun festival to honor and support all children fighting cancer. A big thank you to all kings, queens and mamas for their help and support. Thank you to Ms. Elite Edinburg, Sonia Enriquez for her leadership and organizing such a special event.
