.markets 2024 in Photos 📸
There’s 52 weekends in a year and 33 of those Saturdays we held events which helped to bring people together and support local businesses.
In 2024 we learned a lot of things as we took on this market group to operate as a legitimate business -
That not everyone in business is a friend and has your best interest in mind. But some are and do want to see you succeed.
People will go to great lengths to see your down fall. And while we’ve cried about some we’ve gotten back up.
We learned that other businesses copying our approaches in advertising, logistics, marketing, & communication should not taken personal. If anything we should be flattered we’re setting the standard.
We’ve also learned that it’s okay to take breaks, and recoup. This is a full time job done in a part time matter and it can be draining.
We’ve learned that at times perhaps it may seem like our efforts are not a lot to others, and it’s okay because as long as we know our efforts and what we’re doing- that should be enough.
We’ve learned plenty and we’ve been knocked down multiple times that to be honest we’ve felt like quitting and ending our events due to all the hate we’ve gotten or doubts from people. But we’ve pulled through the many anxiety attacks, tears, heat and much more.
Looking back at these photos, the smiles, the laughter, and the connections made at our events are what keep us going. STX Markets is run by two young women juggling full-time jobs, life struggles, and a dream to make something special for our community. And the truth is, every small business owner who joins us has a similar story—showing up despite the odds to pursue their passion.
To all of you who showed up, supported, and believed in us this year: thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, we are endlessly grateful for your love and encouragement. You inspire us to keep going, and we can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store.
