At Lowe’s, I sourced quality wood for my A-frame sign, expertly cut by the ever-helpful Michael. Safety was the name of the game as we navigated the tools, making the process a breeze. Sometimes, letting Lowe’s do the heavy lifting is the DIY hack we all need.
Step 2: A Palette of Possibilities
With wood in hand, it was off to Hobby Lobby for a splash of color – purple vinyl. Opting for permanence over removability, I set the stage for a lasting masterpiece.
Step 3: Paint the Canvas White
Back home, I dipped my brush into a pot of white paint, transforming the wooden canvas. A blank slate ready for the floral magic to unfold.
Step 4: Floral Fusion with Amazon Finds
A quick Amazon search led me to a floral box perfectly sized for my project. Gorilla glue worked its adhesive wonders, marrying wood and blooms seamlessly.
Step 5: Tech meets Craft – Canva & Cricut Collaboration
In the digital realm, I summoned creativity with Canva, crafting the perfect design. Translated to reality with my trusty Cricut, the words came to life, adding a personalized touch to the floral canvas.
Step 6: Bracket Brilliance
To add the final flourish, a bracket was introduced, ensuring the sign could gracefully fold. An effortless touch that elevated the functionality of my creation.
