It’s the final batch of Woodland Crowns for the VARF 2024 season! This is closing weekend already!

Tomorrow is the deadline for custom Elf Hoods for 2023, and for custom handfasting cloths for late October, 2023.
There are only 2 slots left for the hoods!

“…. I bought this capelet you made 2nd hand. I am sure they wore a few times to look cute at the renn faire. I took it to Ireland. I was doing a 5 day horse trek along the southwest coast. I though I might look cute too if I wore in town. But it became an essential piece of gear. Through screaming winds and driving rain, soaked to the bone, the under fleece was the only thing that stayed dry and kept me warm. Even riders with technical gear were drenched. Mimosa is in a big dog crate in our basement to keep her warm and safe away from the rest of our animals while she is recovering on her special food.
She is doing incredibly well, we’re so happy!!

New Mama duck, Juniper!

We have…ducklings!
Today we are witnessing the most precious birth of new ducklings, our first, on our little farm. Juniper, mama duck, went broody about a month ago, and has been the most diligent expecting mother. Today, on the eve of Ostara, her hatchlings are arriving. We have one fully out, number 2 is on her way, and we are watching for the 3rd one now. Working in the studio again today, and I just love my roving visitors. 🥰 These are our free-ranging pet ducks, their little lagoon is close to the studio.
I wasn’t sure how Runa would react to a cloak being worn on her, as it was the first time we have done a costume shoot and she was perfect 🥰
