Thank you to everyone who attended Ravenwood at the end of October, and purchased from my booth!

I took a much needed couple of weeks off after a very busy summer/ fall festival season.
We also got to make a quick getaway back “home” to Montpelier Vermont for Halloween and to visit my family.
Best Halloween in many many years!
Now we are home, and I’m settling back in at the house and studio, catching up on so many things.

We will not be vending at any more shows for 2024, as we have done many holiday seasons in the past.
There will be one more shop update to the website though, coming this Friday.

When I am asked where I get my inspiration, the answer is always directly from nature and the wild area I live right in the middle of. This owl appeared in our backyard the other night, and landed (on our chicken run!) that we have strings of fairy lights on.
All chickens were already locked inside for the night, and absolutely nothing was done to these photos to embellish them.
Pretty amazing sight to behold!

It’s the final batch of Woodland Crowns for the VARF 2024 season! This is closing weekend already!

Tomorrow is the deadline for custom Elf Hoods for 2023, and for custom handfasting cloths for late October, 2023. There are only 2 slots left for the hoods! Also, there is some weird glitch on my website host where it is impossible to see an add to cart button for some reason. It is there! Please see the video below if you are interested in these last two slots.

It’s effing freezing (what else is new?!) in the studio. 😑 I can see my breath indoors.

Rememeber my precious little Mimosa hen who needed surgery last fall? (She’s doing great, btw) She now has a chick!! Little Sprout was born about an hour ago, via the incubator. 🥰

I am sure they wore a few times to look cute at the renn faire. I took it to Ireland. I was doing a 5 day horse trek along the southwest coast. I though I might look cute too if I wore in town. But it became an essential piece of gear. Through screaming winds and driving rain, soaked to the bone, the under fleece was the only thing that stayed dry and kept me warm. Even riders with technical gear were drenched. On days when it was cool the capelet was just enough and gave a lord of the rings vibe. I just wanted you to know your price was used as it was meant to be and not just to be cute.” -Adrienne
