Today's Scripture

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1, NKJV

When You Can’t See It

When we see God’s favor—doors opening, our health improving, the right people showing up—it’s easy to believe that He’s at work. But sometimes when we’re praying and believing, there’s no sign that it’s going to happen. Every circumstance says, “There’s no way.” It’s easy to get discouraged and give up on what we’re believing for. We think, “God, just give me a sign that it’s improving.”

But faith is the evidence of things not seen. If you have the evidence and can see it, that doesn’t take any faith. To reach your destiny, there will be times when there is no evidence and you have to dig down deep and say, “I don’t have to have the evidence. I’m not moved by what I see; I’m moved by what I know. And God, I know that You are faithful to what You promised.” Don’t believe the lie that just because you don’t see a sign, God is not working. In the unseen realm, God is arranging things in your favor, lining up the healing, the right people, the promotion.

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that You are my God and that my faith is rooted in who You are and not based on what I see. Thank You that I can be free from trying to figure everything out on my own. I declare that I do not need signs to know that You are working and will provide whatever I need. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Trust His Plan
The Scripture says that God’s ways are not our ways. We think that it’s just the good breaks, the promotions, and the great relationships that serve God’s plan, but it’s also the disappointments, the closed doors, and the people who do us wrong. Without that happening, we couldn’t reach our destiny. You have to trust God’s process. We see the negative things as hindrances, but it is all necessary to become who we are created to be. We all go through things that don’t make sense, but God wouldn’t have allowed it if it wasn’t going to serve His plan. This is when you have to dig down deep and wait upon Him in faith. Just keep moving forward, doing the right thing, being faithful, serving others. God is not going to waste anything you go through. What was meant for your harm, He will turn to your advantage. You’re about to come out to new levels. You’re going to go places that you’ve never gone and see favor that you’ve never seen. God is doing a new thing.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are able to make all things serve me for my good, even the negative things that stress me out and seem to be holding me back. Thank You that I can stay in peace and trust the process. I believe that You are working out Your plan for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Well, ATL BBQ & Catering (WE) did it again on this past Wednesday!! My Soror Talishe Beauford asked for a dinner to feed four people in her family, and WE understood the assignment. Plus, she received 10% off her total because my chapter had Black Friday / Black Dollars from Friday, December 2, 2022 - Friday, December 9, 2022. She texted early on yesterday, Thursday, and said the food was delicious.

Thanksgiving Day 2022 went like this… on the menu: 2 fried turkeys, grilled neckbones, grilled salmon, blackened chicken, crab casserole, bbq pig feet, honey glazed ham, collard greens, green beans, baked mac and cheese, fried cabbage, potato salad, sweet potato casserole, garlic mashed potato, deviled eggs, regular dressing, oyster stuffing, homemade gravy, homemade rum cake, homemade chocolate pudding vanilla marble cake, homemade ice boxed pie, homemade cheesecake, cherry cheesecake, Breyers Neapolitan ice cream… I believe that was it!! 🤔🫡🫠💪🏽 We played different games, danced, and watched both NFL football games.
