It’s been a crazy year for us. Not because of the amount of weddings this season but just life in general. Molly’s little one is now almost 1 year old, which seems hard to believe. This August Anna and Kurt welcomed their baby boy Tristen into the world. Surprise! As you can imagine that has made everything very different, wonderfully so! We only took on 3 weddings this year for 3 amazing couples so that we could prepare for uncertainties at home. Thank you to Emma & Gerry, Lauren & Tom and Elena & Owen for allowing us to assist you on each of your special days. We were 3/3 for rain but each and everyone of them took the best of it and made it into something even more special. “A wet knot is harder to untie than a dry knot”. And for one of them a hurricane is definitely a memorable detail of the special day and they had a hell of a view of it to boot! Seriously though we want to wish them all a lifetime of happiness! 2023 is in the books and we are so looking forward to what 2024 has in store!

Been a while since we’ve done a bump update. Molly is a month away from Winnie’s due date! We wrapped up our 2022 wedding season in Newry, ME assisting & John celebrate their intimate wedding day with close family and friends. They had the perfect relaxing, sunny fall day near Sunday River at where everyone stayed and got to get ready and enjoy the day altogether. The vendors we worked with were all top notch yet again! helped all the ladies with hair and makeup to look even more fabulous than they already are. captured all the amazing views and special moments and had everyone smiling the whole day! We cannot wait to see what the amazing shots and had such a blast working with this husband and wife duo! set up some gorgeous floral arrangements for the tablescape as well as the arbor. Touches of gold and orange were the perfect touches as this golden hour fall wedding day! And that was carried over to the bridal bouquet and boutonnières! lead a wonderful and touching ceremony, everyone was happy crying and we dare say we shed a tear or two as well. And the evening was enjoyed by everyone, vendors included, thanks to the amazing team from ! Amy is an artist and everyone absolutely raved about her food from cocktail hour all the way through the night! We cannot thank everyone enough for working so hard on this special day and we hope that Blake and John and their family and friends had a wonderful day to remember. We also want to wish the newlyweds a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you again for allowing us to assist you in your special day!

A Maine wedding in a 1918 built mansion on the cliffs of Bar Harbor in Autumn with fog rolling over the coast like a blanket before dinner. What more could you ask for? How about some of the cozy details this lovely couple added for their family and friends like baskets of blankets for the outdoor ceremony, welcome coupes of champagne, adorable photos of the couple and their travels absolutely everywhere, hot and iced apple cider bar, and their adorable fur babies as their flower girls! Audra and Thomas had the perfect weather for their special day and we dare say the perfect fall wedding shared with their closest family and friends from all over the country. We ofcourse worked with the most amazing bunch vendors you could ask for yet again! Thanks to and for being such a killer photography team! Can’t wait to see all the amazing shots from this beautiful day! Thanks to of Maine Made Weddings for providing killer setups for both the ceremony and reception! The lights and sound were phenomenal! Thank you also to for doing such a stunning job on hair and makeup! Everyone looked amazing! They also had such a great time during the get ready process which is so important to set up the day for success. Thanks also to for coming out to location and making such amazing vegan options for our couple and family and friends. All the pies were a big hit! All in all it was a pretty perfect day and we want to wish Audra and Thomas a lifetime of happiness and adventures! Thank you so much for entrusting us to assist you on your special day. It truly was one to remember.

It’s that time of year when we are getting new clients for the next couple of years. We are working on our own lists of Do’s and Don’t’s but this is a pretty good start of what we don’t cover. To most of our clients this is pretty obvious but we like to post a remind from time to time. And all in all don’t assume, please ask. We have worked with some great couples! And can’t wait for our 2023/2024 couples!

We had an absolute blast assisting Kaarie and Kyle celebrate their wedding day yesterday! Unfortunately we were having so much fun that we didn’t get to take any of our usual behind the scenes photos but everyone had such a great time and we’re in good spirits despite the gusts of wind. We want to thank all the vendors for being so awesome to work with! Everyone was fantastic once again! Thanks to Geoffrey and Sue for use of your amazing venue and for carting guests, vendors and wedding party alike up and down from the ceremony spot by the lake to the barn. Thanks also to for adding such exquisite centerpieces and arrangements to the venue to make it look even more stunning than it already is. Everyone was obsessed with the arrangements hung on the arbor for the photo booth! So glad we got to keep it safe from the wind and so many people took pictures of it. It truly was a showstopper! Thanks to for an awesome set and entertaining everyone at the reception and the set up to add to the beauty of the ceremony down by the water. and were an awesome team getting all the shots of this fantastic day, as well as and his assistant capturing video of the whole day too! We can’t wait to see all the stunning shots and clips from this fun filled day! And all the guests were well fed and glasses were kept full thanks to and ! The food, cake and drinks were absolutely stellar! The guests had nothing but great things to say about all the food and drinks provided and about the whole day in general. Kaarie and Kyle were absolutely wonderful to work for and you friends and family had a blast celebrating your special day with you. We hope you had a fabulous time celebrating also and wish you nothing but happiness for years to come. Congratulations again to the new Mr & Mrs! 🍾🎊🎉❤️🎂

Fave thing one of our clients did that made our lives so much easier this year and fave tip: have a binder for your vendors with your timeline, tablescape/decor inspo, copy of contracts (and/or permits if applicable, i.e. for public space usage like park for ceremony, etc), hair and makeup looks, music (especially Do Not play list), photo list, ceremony line up and possibly run down (but not necessarily need if your officiant has a copy that’s all that really matters) AND pictures of your important people!!!!
For the first time we have had some clients give us photos and names of important family members and the wedding party! This made so many things so much easier!
The amount of times we’ve been asked to give grandma or uncle or someone something and had to apologize because we didn’t know who they were is astounding. Definitely a top recommendation!

Another marvelous wedding weekend in the books for our 2022 season and it was an absolute blast celebrating and with their closest family and friends at SkiEsta! Such a fun group of guests as well as vendors! Hair and makeup was provided by and everyone looked stunning! Amazing food provided by Mary Currier with assistance from Charlene Cabral! Bartending, happy hour assistance and serving assistance provided by and Kate Smith! As always we cannot wait to see all the photos as well as video from the amazing photographer Emily from and videographer Chelsey in coordination with seatnsco. They were a great team capturing all the most memorable moments of this fantastic day! And ofcourse the DJ has us rockin’ from the start! absolutely played a killer set and had every single guest out on that dance floor all night! And you know you’ve got a fun group when the night ends with the wedding party jumping in the pool together to get the most amazing photo ever! Can’t wait to see that but we are so glad we got to see it in person! Congrats to Megan and Jon! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and fun just like your wedding day! Thank you for choosing us to assist you. It was an incredible day!

Can’t believe we have just a few weddings left to this season! It has been a fantastic year! Obviously with Molly expecting the weekend after Thanksgiving we are not doing any weddings in November or after that but, this year has been full of memorable couples, fantastic details and amazing vendors! Next year we are taking it quite slow and won’t be doing as much so that we have some time to learn with all new life changes that are quickly approaching. So if you would like to book with us or know someone in need of wedding coordinating services please have them send us a message or email. We will be remaining close to the Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Camden coastal region next year for Day of or Day of Plus coordinating services only. We want to thank all of our clients for being so understanding and supportive and just amazing during this time. We will be back to providing all services and likely traveling the state again for the 2024 season.

Had an absolutely fabulous day helping celebrate Callie and Tucker’s wedding day at Grace on the Lake. We had an amazing crew of vendors that made everything run so smoothly. Thank you to for providing stunning florals and amazing food, Andy MacVane and his amazing assistant bartender for providing spectacular specialty beverages and more, for providing the music and set up for the ceremony and reception, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing photos from ! Especially at this amazing venue! Truly a perfect day!

Another successful wedding weekend gone by. We ofcourse had too much fun assisting Jackie and JP on their special day in Old Orchard Beach to get any photos but we are so excited to see all the fantastic shots taken by . We also kept hearing fabulous things about food from ! And the band was kickin it in to gear as the night went on! It was awesome to work with everyone and for such a great group of people! Molly’s bump update. First pic is from the 4th of July and the second is from the end of the month. Molly and baby girl are doing so great! Trying to take it easy whenever she can. Sharing this because yes we are here to help and kind of act like a sounding board from time to time for our couples because yes, wedding planning is super stressful. We do take on that stress a bit but there’s no way your planners/coordinators can take it all for you, sadly. Some of the stress is other factors that come with the planning process other than the actual set up of the day. Take a read of this article and remember that it will all work out. If it helps keep a journal for the process to get some things out, talk to your friends and family you can trust and won’t judge or insert unwanted advice. Yes weddings can bring out the craziness in people but ultimately it’s about two people coming together. ❤️

Because, believe it or not, wedding planning should be fun.

A helpful tip that most people wouldn’t think about until after the fact (or during) if you have an arch, circle, arbor, trellis or whichever you want to call it, make sure you test it out first with a good way to anchor it to the ground or something. Whether outside or in sometimes these beautiful pieces heavy or light need some really good support just to stand or stand up to the wind. Always open them and assemble atleast once if ordered online. Or if you DIY one make sure you test it out in a similar type area to your ceremony.
And we as your coordinators do come prepared for quite a bit, but we can’t think of everything. We have been lucky with all our clients with beautiful arbors to have been able to MacGyver something together to make them hold but it is always a fun revelation and a process to get there haha.

Had a great day in Bar Harbor and Acadia helping Shannon and Lucas celebrate their special day. What an awesome day it was too! The heat broke for them and there was a nice breeze and some cool fog to add a unique touch to every photo, not to mention all the breathtaking views of Acadia National Park. Can’t wait to see the gorgeous photos took! Also want to say thank you to Anne McKee of for playing such beautiful songs on her violin for the ceremony at Otter Point. And thank you to the amazing staff at for setting up and handling everything with the reception. It was truly beautiful. Wishing the happy couple a lifetime of happiness!

Has an awesome day out on this beauty, Songo River Queen II in Naples, ME for Teela and Robert’s gorgeous wedding day on the lake! Catering provided by Just Julie’s Catering, an amazing 4 tiered carrot cake masterpiece was provided by , TJ the DJ killed the dance floor with some awesome hits and we cannot wait to see all the photos from ! It was awesome working with everyone and another awesome couple to work for! Congrats to the happy couple!

So excited to announce that we are expecting a baby girl! Just had my 20 week anatomy scan and baby girl was quite active! We are over the moon excited! We would be excited either way but just to know brought us so much joy. You are so loved already baby girl! -Molly

Now after the holiday weekend we are getting into the full swing of our official “busy” part of wedding season. Middle/end of July to September/early October tends to be our busiest time of the year here in Maine. With practically every weekend booked and scheduling final details meetings during the week for all the fabulous couples that have weddings coming up during that time we are running at full tilt. Please be patient with us if we do not respond immediately to your messages or emails. We are reading them and responding as soon as we can. We love all of our couples and cannot wait to see all these fabulous weddings that you all been planning and putting such hard work into come to reality. It’s also going to be kind of a different season with Molly expecting but we are making sure that our couples are the absolute happiest with everything on their special days. If you haven’t heard from us about a final details meeting yet and you are one of our 2022 couples, don’t worry we shall send a message in the next month or so. Can’t wait to see you all! Yay 2022 wedding season!

Been getting asked about some simple or typical tips to keep in mind when planning a wedding. We can confidently say we agree with all of these. But also remember to trust your gut (both of yours that is. Yours and your fiancé’s). If you feel overwhelmed take a breather and revisit later. It will all workout in due time. We promise!
