🇺🇸 The National Veterans Parade Is This Sunday! 🇺🇸

Get ready to gather in Washington, DC for a powerful tribute to our veterans! Sponsored by Events DC, the National Veterans Parade will bring together communities from across the nation to honor those who have served.

The parade steps off at 12:00 PM from the National Archives, marching down Constitution Avenue to the White House. Come early for Opening Ceremonies at 11:00 AM, featuring performances, patriotic tributes, and a special full band performance by our Grand Marshal, Country Music Star and Veteran Scotty Hasting!

Day 20: Festival Partner Spotlight: Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival Crew

Today we’re celebrating the heart and soul of the festival—the Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival Crew! From start to finish, these incredible partners worked together to bring Scottish and Irish heritage to life.

-Over 70 Scottish Highland Clans welcomed attendees, sharing their heritage and stamping passports with pride.
-Clan and Tartan Information provided deep dives into family histories and beautiful tartans.
-Festival Archives offered a glimpse into our rich festival history.
-Highland Dancers brought traditional dances to life, inspiring everyone with their energy.
-Our Festival Leprechaun added a touch of magic and laughter to the festival grounds!
- The Celtic Armory showcased authentic Celtic weapons and artifacts and kept the festival on time with top-of-the-hour cannon blasts.
-The Viking Village for their immersive reenactments of Viking life, adding an exciting historical touch.
-Northern Colorado Weavers demonstrated and shared their incredible weaving skills.
-Merchants and Food Vendors kept us fueled and thrilled with authentic items and delicious bites.
-Byron and his crew poured the best dram of scotch in town, giving festival-goers a true taste of Scotland.
-American Highlands Ranch for showcasing their beautiful Highland Coos.
-The Knights of Tempest for their thrilling jousting displays that kept us all on the edge of our seats!
-Finally, our dedicated festival volunteers kept things running smoothly and spread positive vibes all around.

Day 19: Festival Partner Spotlight: ScotFest Dogs of the British Isles, Estes Park Colorado

As a long-time partner, this group has been a fan favorite, showcasing incredible herding and agility skills and charming festival-goers of all ages. 🐾

This year, they made an even bigger impact with the certified Durward Dog adoption event, where 10 lucky pups found their forever homes!
A heartfelt thank you to Dogs of the British Isles for your dedication and for making this year’s festival extra special.

Day 13: Festival Partner Spotlight - Nature's Educators

This wonderful wildlife education outreach non-profit wowed festival-goers with its incredible rescued birds of prey, offering a unique and educational experience for attendees of all ages. As part of the Estes Park Educational Outreach Program, it helped us connect our guests to the majesty of these incredible creatures. We got to meet an Augur Buzzard, Harris Hawk, American Kestrel, Aplomado Falcon, and Gyr-Peregrine Falcon!

Day 10: Festival Education Partner Spotlight: Black Watch Battalion ACF

The Black Watch Cadets from Scotland brought music and tradition to life for the next generation, performing a special concert and instrument demonstration at the Estes Park Elementary School.
But their incredible talent didn’t stop there! These young musicians also delivered unforgettable performances at the Tattoo, opened and closed the festival ceremonies with pride, and gave special field performances throughout the weekend. 🎶
