I found another “volunteer” peony plant the other day while getting the gardens ready. I cut the single bloom when there was threat of frost….love watching the little bit of sunshine it brings to my kitchen windowsill.

It reminds me,
that the magic happens even if the conditions aren’t perfect .

I have created so many wreaths lately. It’s tough to say which one is my favorite…I love them all! Each one is unique.

I have to say, this one might be my favorite of all. It doesn’t have the “glitz and glam” of some, but the entire wreath was created from things that were grown or foraged on our farm with the addition of amazing apples from a friend’s orchard in Adams County.

To some, it may seem like a lot of work and not worth it, but to me, it makes my heart happy that I am able to be part of so many holiday memories. ❤️
