Here’s the first bouquet of the year, with lots of ladybugs everywhere! It’s too warm for January. I also like to hang crystal “cherries “ in the Montmorency cherry tree, and look at the size of this bumblebee taking refuge from the rain on a Fama Blue scabiosa. Was so surprised to see it there at this time of year. And, the willows are almost ready for harvest!

Always a good reminder to get outside, even in crappy weather and you’ll find some magic, you just have to be patient, get down close and look.

Our annual family volunteer event.

Cold, foggy day to remember our veterans. Amazing to think that >5200 cemeteries participating simultaneously around the country, including Arlington. We found a child who lived only for a year and someone who made it for 104 years, plus veterans from quite a few wars.

Flower cards created from my photos, in packs of four will arrive in the next month and they make great gifts for all kinds of occasions.

Dahlias are winding down and the anemones and ranunculus are growing fast and strong-I anticipate early blooms! I even saw a sweet pea beginning to bloom today 🤷‍♀️
