Happy first day of spring!! ✨

I've been playing with green a lot lately.⁠
⁠
Green is my favorite color in general, but, when it comes to flowers, it's not what I lean toward typically. I've become a lot more bold in my color preferences with my art and green often felt a little too neutral for me.⁠
⁠
So, I've been experimenting with different, more vibrant shades of green to bring those two loves together.⁠
⁠
I think it's fun to play with ideas, colors, and even flower types that I'm less naturally drawn to. To use something I may not gravitate toward and use it in a way that changes my mind about it.⁠
⁠
A few options that I've been using recently are hypericum berries, aspidistra leaves, hydrangea, and bells of Ireland. They may not be my go-tos, but I think they definitely have their place.⁠

What are some flowers you're not typically a fan of? Maybe I'll try them in my next designs!⁠⁠⁠⁠

Yesterday, I had so much fun creating with Riley Jean Bibey | Elopement Photographer] + playing with these strawberry kiwi tones!!

I had so much fun meeting up with for her two designer series a few weeks ago (our prompt: your favorite food). Chas, thanks for bringing chicken nugget flowers into our world. 😂⁠

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been dreaming of sushi inspired arrangements for awhile, and I was so happy with how it came together. I hope you can see the inspiration behind the flower selection, textures, + colors.⁠

Also, shoutout to for the idea to use snow fungus as my base. It was the perfect option to keep these arrangements eco-friendly + on theme!⁠⁠⁠⁠
