Did you know that the longest recorded marriage lasted 86 years and 290 days!? Wow! Truly incredible 🥹🫶🏻

Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher, who married in 1924, held the Guinness World Record for the longest union before Herbert passed away in 2011.

We’re coming up on 16 years, just 71 to go until we can make our own record! Assuming we can live to be 107/109 😆❤️

Halle & Jeremiah recently welcomed a baby girl, and I couldn’t be happier for them! 🥹 it is so beautiful getting to see my couples grow their families and become parents. ❤️

Today is the day!! We’ve been working on a brand and website refresh behind the scenes for months with , and I am thrilled to finally share the finished product with you. 🥳

If there is one thing I knew going into this rebrand, it was that I did *not* want to blend into the sea of other wedding planners. The same serif font types, the same neutral colors, the same look… I’m not here for that, and quite frankly my past brand just wasn’t ME anymore. I wanted bolder. I wanted to stand out. I wanted it to reflect the things that I love… like bright colors, flowers, bows, and champagne – while still being classy AF.

So say hello to the new Event Crush; 2025 will bring our THIRTEENTH YEAR as one of the top wedding and event planners in Oregon, and as I’ve said many times before… we’re only getting started.

Over the years, Event Crush has grown in ways I could have only dreamed of, and this new look perfectly captures the heart of what we do: creating beautiful, heartfelt, and unforgettable celebrations in the most stunning locations. From the rugged Oregon Coast to the breathtaking mountains and beyond, we’re here to make your wedding day as magical as the landscapes we call home.

A few scenes from Chris and Ryan’s wedding back in September — these two were absolutely beaming all day, and I loved watching their love story come to life!

Chris and Ryan were married at the bride’s family property right on the edge of the McKenzie River. Guests were greeted with cocktails followed by a walk through the garden before making their way to the riverside ceremony. Cocktail hour with live music, passed appetizers and drinks flowing lead into a family style dinner of burgers from ! Guests danced long into the night to the sounds of . 💃🏻

It was an unforgettable day and an honor to be a part of!

When Laura and Connor were choosing the location for their intimate wedding ceremony, it was an easy decision — they knew they wanted to say their vows in a place that already held so many cherished memories for them. Mt. Tabor Park, nestled at the top of a hill just steps from their Portland home, provided the perfect backdrop for Laura and Connor to start this new chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by their loved ones. ❤️

SO MUCH to be grateful for 🤍

Amazing clients, wonderful vendor partners, supportive family, the sweetest pup, a cozy roof over our heads, and dear friends… I could go on and on. In all honestly, life doesn’t always look the way we think it will, but even still there is joy and beauty to be found.

And for me and my fam, this day is a reminder of God’s goodness in our lives. I know my life would look completely different without the love of Jesus. Every day that I wake up breathing is a gift! And I never want to forget that.

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones and that you end the day with not just full bellies, but full hearts. ❤️

Scenes from a magical destination wedding in August ✨

Courtney and Clayton were married in the clouds overlooking the Pacific coastline surrounded by their closest loved ones (and their adorable pups!). You may have seen me share about this day in my stories— this was the wedding we moved up a day due to the weather. All of the vendors rallied to make it happen for this sweet couple and I’m SO glad we did because the next day the storms hit ⛈️

We will do whatever it takes for our couples to make their day magical! Although I admit this was an extremely unique situation and unlikely to be replicated.

You breathe a huge sigh of relief knowing that you were able to be present with your loved ones and savor the special moments as they happened. You look out at your friends and family and are filled with gratitude for those who came to celebrate you. You look over at your person and you can’t help but smile because — you did it! You are MARRIED. 🥳 It was one of the best days of your life, and it went by fast — but it was everything you hoped and dreamed it would be. 🤍

When I was first getting started in the industry back in 2012/2013, someone said something really unkind about me/my business behind my back. Someone who was a veteran in the wedding industry and could have taken the opportunity to reach out and build up a new planner, but instead chose to tear me down. And honestly, it stuck with me for years and I’ve never forgotten about.
