DJs: Joa Kin, Oja, Queen Mab, Polywog, Willow from Paris, Marz and the groups Dread Daze, Dusky Diana & Community Edu. She recorded with producers: APlus, BukueOne, BorgoeBeats, Charlie G. (Rhythmatik), Perl & Porto, Kentron the Mighty Mastadon, MekzOne, Julian Brooks (Temper Twinz, Mod Squad), Soundscannerz (Snoop, Kokane, Angie Stone). Adina released her first official song entitled "THE TWINS" (produced by Rythmatik/Charlie G.) on C-Rayz Walz' album "Who the F% are You?" in Feb 2008. She's been recording and performing on and off, with an instrumental release in 7/2010 called "Emotions" (prod. by Rhytmatik) on C-Rayz Walz Benefit Album entitled "Beat The System". She composed, arranged and produced the soundtrack for an e-book entitled "Legacy of the Cross". Irie Adina performed in NYC - playing reggae and hip hop flute w bands and dj's at NYC's hotspots.She also performed at the opening the Venetian Hotel & Casino in 2007 in Macau, China playing classical, opera & jazz & a little singing. Her years of formal training in classical and jazz, blends well with her life-experience in the reggae, dub, ska, hip-hop, house, latin, electronic and rock realms. She calls her improvisational way of playing as "freestyling". Her sound has been described as "mesmerizing, (Snake) charming, relaxing and inspiring." Irie Adina also teaches flute to all ages and skill levels, and enjoys playing classical, jazz and contemporary songs for weddings & celebrations. She is currently working on her first solo album. In the meantime, she loves spinning roots, rock and reggae on Thursdays and Sundays from 7-9pm on 106.7 The Edge. Be sure to tune in this week!

Mark your calendars now! June 21st and 22nd 2025 the Mateel Community Center is making an historical change that has been a long time in the making. The 48th Annual Summer Arts and Music Festival is moving to the Southern Humboldt Community Park!

For years the Mateel and SoHum Park have been working towards more collaborative efforts. With the success of last years Picnic in the Park, SoHum Park’s long running fundraiser, we are now ready to move Summer Arts and Music Festival to it’s new home at our beloved park!

After a return to our roots last year, hosting the festival at the Mateel Hall, we are once again ready to expand Summer Arts and Music Festival to this amazing new location. It just feels right to bring together two of Southern Humboldt’s best community assets, the Mateel Community Center and the Southern Humboldt Community Park, to expand this homegrown historical festival onto the beautiful grounds of this community gem.

Don’t worry, everything you love about Summer Arts and Music Festival will stay the same, the local handmade vendors, the showcasing of our local musical talent, kids activities, great international food, and great headliners to dance the night away!

Greetings, I am Irie Adina, radio personality and hostess of Irie Adina's Reggae pon the Edge on 1067FM The Edge, Humboldt’s classic rock station, that I turn into Humboldt’s classic Roots, Rock and Reggae station. Tune in on Thursdays and Sundays from 7-9pm. I am a native San Franciscan, who has traveled and lived all over the world.

During InnaView at 8, I feature reggae today’s top reggae artists, and we reason and review their music. So far on my show I have interviewed: Skip Marley, Mykal Rose, Perfect Giddimani, Wyclef Jean, Tanya Stephens, Kelissa, Dave Monaco of Better Chemistry, Asadenaki Wailer, Andrew Tosh, Rocker T, Culture Kenyatta Hill, to name just a few. I will soon be interviewing Protoje, Kabaka Pyramid, Third World, Garth Dennis (Wailing Souls).

I bigup and feature local reggae as well as the latest biggest tunes from jamaica and beyond. I feature major ticket giveaways, a bigups and nuff love segment, and “scratchs’ picks” - a few songs from the vault...
