Announcement: There’s no easy way to share this, so here goes….

Eva Florist (formerly Baker’s Flower shop) here in Eva, Alabama will be closing after almost 6 amazing years in business!!

March 15th will be our last day open. Words cannot thank you enough for the outpouring of support through these years.

This was a very difficult decision approached prayerfully and with utmost consideration.

Feel free to continue to call us at 256-758-8337 and we will be happy to share recommendations of other amazing local florists we have built wonderful relationships with over the years.

We truly believe the Lord opens and closes doors and that has certainly been the case for us. We are closing our retail store to allow more time to devote to Capital Wholesale (our wholesale floral supply company serving the southeast). Tina Puckett will continue to work with us and design floral arrangements that will now be shared in Alabama and neighboring states.

It has been our absolute honor to serve you through the years; from proms to weddings to birthdays to celebrations of life. We are forever impacted by each and every one of you. We love you all!!

Terry Childers is Amber's uncle and does our wooden boxes ,the wind chime stands and now our beautiful stands for the throws. This is a sample we have in the shop of his beautiful work. He puts hooks on them so if your not displaying a throw. You can do a plant or small windchime. Give us a call.

BTW. Tomorrow we won't open till noon and stay till 4. Both of us ( Alana and I) have eye appts. 👁

New things in the shop.
Hey everyone! Hope you all stayed safe and warm during the ice and snow event. We will be open from 9 to noon tomorrow and then close the rest of the day Birmingham Dr appt. Open the rest of the week at normal hours 9 to 4 Tuesday through Friday and Saturday 9 to noon. I'll have the phone with me if you need to order anything for the rest of the week. Here's a few new items for funeral or decoration needs. We will try to keep some pre-made in the shop, depending upon orders going out. There will be pre-made Decoration flowers to pick from or we can create for you when you select your flowers you like best. Spring flowers are starting to come in. We look forward to your continued business.

If you have a need for live flowers, we have a list of florists in the area we can refer you to! We have amazing connections with areas all over north Alabama. 🤗

We're still here for all silk flowers and funeral arrangements in silks or throws , windchimes and the little white churches. We still can do balloons and goody baskets and candy bouquets. We appreciate your business and each of you.

After much consideration and prayer, we have decided we will no longer offer LIVE flowers effective immediately.

We will continue to offer funerals services, including casket blankets (silk only), windchimes, throws, churches and other sympathy items. We will be adding more variety to our gift items and will still offer balloon bouquets, balloon services, goody baskets and candy bouquets.

Here’s to 2024!!! We value each and every one of you!!

Eva Florist will be open Monday ( 12/18 ) through Wednesday (12/20) 9 to 4 all 3 days. Closed December 21st through December 25th. Reopen on the 26th. Sorry for any inconvenience but doctors and family time for Christmas comes first. We will be available through our page here on Facebook if a funeral need is needed. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!

This Saturday at 4:30 p.m. is Eva town's Christmas parade and then at 6 p.m. the lighting of the Christmas on the mountain trees along the trail in the park. Eva Florist has a tree there. Yall be sure to come Saturday night or any night after to see the beautiful trees.

A cornucopia for someone's dinner table for Thanksgiving. We wish you all a wonderful holiday season. We are open tomorrow and Wednesday as usual and closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving with our family. Open Saturday morning from 9 to noon.

A dear friend of the Eva community passed away last week and we had the honor of doing so many friends and family pieces for his service. Our hearts and prayers are with his family and friends still today.

We will be open today( 9-4), Saturday (9-12) & Monday (9-4) but closed on Tuesday because of doctors appt.

Sorry for any inconvenience today. The shop will close at 11 this morning for a doctor's appointment in Birmingham. I will have the phone to take orders that needs to go out for the rest of the week.
