This is a better late than never post! We'll be out with food for the EUM show tonight! We're switching it up with our menu this week. In addition to this Asian Sesame Quinoa Bowl, we'll also have our Curried Chicken Salad Pita Sandwiches and Cranberry Turkey Wraps available. Chips, beverages (including beer and hard seltzers), and something tasty from Bussalicious Farm will also be available.
We'll see you at 23 N. 1st Street! Music starts at 6:00 (food 5:45ish).

Join us Saturday evening in Lake Leota Park. The folks at EUM have a really stellar event planned which includes bands playing on the island in the lake. You won't want to miss this! We've got dinner, dessert and NA beverages covered. This week is it BYOBeer--because of permitting, please stick to beer only! We'll start serving as close to 5PM as possible and wrap it up when the headliner starts playing.

What an incredible 4 years it has been! I have such mixed emotions writing this post. It’s been a wonderful summer with events and serving creative menus around the community. But looking to the seasons ahead, our current model isn’t sustainable. The beautiful space at 24 E. Main is best suited for restaurant/café operations. After giving this much thought, I’ve decided that I am not a restaurateur and never really intended to be when The Grove first opened. My hope is that the next chapter of 24 E. Main includes somebody fulfilling their dream of operating a restaurant.

My initial sadness over this difficult decision has shifted to gratitude. I’ve always said that The Grove was about the people behind the plates. I feel a tremendous sense of satisfaction thinking about that. I’m proud of the food that we have served over the past couple of years. But I’m far more appreciative of our customers that sustained us this long. So many of you have become dear friends. Getting to know and care about all of you over the past 4 years has made every challenging moment worth it.

Our last regular operational hours at 24 E. Main will be on Tuesday, September 27th. You will also continue to see The Grove Kitchen & Events out in the community and catering off-site events throughout the fall.
