Another craft fair in the books 😍 this one I got to have the help and support of my family which was so fun!! I’ll have some pressed flower frames available soon - Christmas is coming 😍… In fact I think I’ll put up my tree this week 🤭🫣

September and October are the biggest wedding months of the year…personally, I chose to melt 🥵 in the month of July 😂 but hey, if beautiful, cool weather and gorgeous fall foliage are your thing, go for it 😉

Since I can’t have fresh flowers all year long, I had to find a way to still work with flowers during the off-season…

So NOW, brides hand over their precious blooms and I press and preserve them in hand-soldered frames!

I also preserve memorial flowers for families who have lost a loved one and want to save flowers from their service.

If you think you might need flowers, it’s always best to reach out in advance. I typically harvest blooms for orders the evening before, or that morning for freshness and longevity! 🌺

Grace is a word that is chock-full of meaning…it’s in the name of this business that has given me more joy than I ever expected…it’s my daughter’s middle name!…it’s a theme that’s been woven through my entire life, and these two pictures are two of the latest gifts of grace to me! It’s Mini time! I’m thinking about having minis available every Friday and Saturday throughout the season 🤔 hmm…

It was time to ”pinch” the branching sunflowers 🌻 if I don’t do this, I’ll get sad short and stubby blooms. If I DO do this, I’ll get 6-10 long-stemmed, glorious sunflowers. Other flowers that need pinching? Zinnias, cosmos, dahlias, strawflowers, snapdragons, etc…

Sometimes I create pressed flower frames in “meadow” or “bouquet” style… I’m not sure what to call this style. My first thought was “smorgasbord” but that just…sounds terrible 😂 Any suggestions?

Lots of little plant babies are growing in my laundry room, but for now the pressed flowers are getting me through until we see fresh blooms!
