Happy hump-day ya'll! We're officially half way through the weekend and there's nothing more lovely than a bucket of blooms to celebrate with. I don't know about you, but this heat wave has me picking autumn colored blooms even though I don't want summer to end just yet!

A little update for those who can't wait to see our cart overflowing again: we'll be selling arrangements and gifts for teachers on back-to-back school week. We feel deeply moved by the weight of responsibly our school teachers carry throughout the year. I know I wouldn't be the artist I am today without the love and encouragement from the teachers who shaped my skills along the way.

I hope you'll stop by and see us soon! A little side note: you can STILL buy bouquets of flowers from our farm even if you don't see our cart sitting out. Don't hesitate to message me so we can make plans for me to deliver arrangements to you or have you meet me so you can snag some to take home (or gift to someone else).

A bouquet of happiness for all of you this morning 🤗. I haven't been feeling well and I spent the majority of the past two days sleeping. Today I feel refreshed, ready to sit down and dip my brushes into water. 🥰

The bluejays are playing tag in my field tonight. They like to swoop over my head and scold me. During the day this field is my domain but at night... The frogs, the bunnies, and the mice like to play. There are thousands of blooms here. I spent a long time dead heading things but there's still more to give. I find new flowers popping up almost daily. The rudibeckia has dainty open petals now. The sunflowers have just produced another bloom. The Dalilah's are just beginning to produce a showy display... but I have to be patient. It's the hardest part. Waiting, feeding them, trimming so they don't fizzle out. It's a lot of work to keep them going until autumn but it's worth it. The bull frogs sing because they have a home here. The pollen feeds the bees and the more we take from this field... the more the flowers give back. Over and over again. Spreading joy, feeding the souls, and nourishing bellies.

There's magic in working WITH nature instead of against it. I still have things I don't see coming up, but that's the beauty of being patient. You find value in being surprised by the bounty.

The lotus flower buckets are producing tadpoles in heavy supply. Any day now until our most recent buds decide to show off to the hummingbirds and dragonflies. It's coming. Patience.

Come see us from 4-7 pm at the Southern Creamery Co. Today! Gorgeous farm fresh blooms, watercolor cards and paintings are available too. The creamery closes at 6:30 but we'll be hanging out here until 7 so stop on by and support your local flower farmer & local small town coffee shop too! Working hard on making donations to nursing homes and hospitals soon. If you have any vases, mason jars, old coffee cans and so on, feel free to swing by and drop them off with me so we can spread the love 😘 🤗.

Getting arrangements ready to open up our flower cart this evening. We'll be outside the Southern Creamery Co. around 3 or 4 pm today until about 7 or 8 PM. I hope you'll come out and see us!

What a week this week has been!! Yet today is Friday and we made it through. YOU made it through too! I get to spend some time with my favorite people today and I'm gearing up to open my stand this weekend! I hope you'll come by to see me, rain or shine. We'll be at the Southern Creamery Co. selling bouquets of love with a smile 🤗

Yesterday was a difficult day for me but it proved that a little kindness can put bad days into perspective. A wonderful friend who understands my love language gifted me a gorgeous bouquet of sunflowers from her garden WITH an Everpine & Petal vase donation! Suddenly my difficult day didn't seem quite so heavy. I was able to give God control over things that were out of my hands.

It takes so little effort to let someone know how much we care about them and make their day a little lighter. I can't wait to use these vases to bless others.

Our Dalilah's are popping up like crazy. They're getting ready to bloom and I'm finding new things in the garden almost daily.

If you know of a hospital or nursing home that will gladly accept donations in a nearby area, please reach out to me with contact information. I'm making a list of places to spread some sunshine.

In the meantime, keep those donations coming! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the donation Anita 🥰 I'll be sharing pictures really soon of these vases full of blooms and on their way to spread joy to others.

Hey neighbors in Fairmount, Calhoun, ranger and so on... I'd like to do a donation drive for flower vases. One of my biggest goals for Everpine & Petal this year is to donate arrangements to nursing homes, hospitals, and people who need a pick-me-up. So if you have some mason jars, yoo-hoo bottles, salt shakers, old coffee mugs, floral vases and so on... Please reach out to me and consider donating them to help us share bouquets of love to others. 💕 💐

Our flower field is taking off and summer bouquets will be getting started in about a week!!

Today was a magnificent day for the first lotus of the season to open up 🥰. She had opened wider earlier this morning but I couldn't snag a picture then because I was being whisked away to another neurology appointment. The good news is I'll be home tomorrow so I'll snag some more magical images then. 💗💘💐

It's pouring outside today but there's nothing better than juicy peaches and fresh bouquets from the garden 🥰. Not everything is coming up yet but the lotus have flower buds on them, the water lilies are blooming, and the rain is causing a jump in growth ❣️. Days like today have me cozy under the blankets with a good book and a hot cup of tea in my hands.
