Pre-made bouquets, custom bouquets, and cut flowers by the stem are available at many local farmers markets and are also for sale on Fridays and Saturdays from July through October at our farm. We provide flowers for many local florists, if you are buying from one, ask that your bouquet be made with local flowers! If you are a florists and would like to buy our flowers wholesale, please contact us. Our flowers are locally grown, never shipped long distances, and are always fresh and hand-cut!

Thank you also to the Harford County Council, the USDA, the Harford County House Delegation and the Secretary of Agriculture for the beautiful proclamations and citations. This award is very much appreciated!

That’s a wrap, folks. We mowed down two fields of flowers today. Our season is very close to ending. For now, we still have some dahlias and greens. This will be the final weekend for the farmstand and likely the last week for fresh flowers at the Bel Air Farmers Market. This time of year is always bittersweet.

We planted these strawflowers in late May or early June and they were super small—but they started producing in July and are still going strong. This is our harvest from today, October 16! Alex P., this one’s for you—these are in a square bucket—so tall!

Get them while you can! This is likely the final Dahlia Flash Sale of the year for us. The plants are slowing down. These beautiful flowers can be purchased through our website and picked up at the farm on Tuesday, October 15, or Wednesday, October 16 between the hours of 9 and 6. Select the stems you like best.

It’s October! We have beautiful dahlias, celosia, cosmos, gomphrena, tuberose, strawflowers and mini-pumpkins! We will not be at the Bel Air Farmers Market next week, but you can visit us at our farm stand on Friday and Saturday from 11-5.

Tuberose! It’s the flower of the week. We dig up these bulbs every fall and store them in the cellar for the winter, then replant them out in the field in the spring. This week they kicked in and started blooming. They have an amazing scent! These will be available at the Bel Air Farmers Market and at our farm stand this weekend.

Our Story

Belvedere Farm sells its flowers at local farmers’ markets: Kenilworth, Reisterstown, Boordy and the Bel Air Farmers’ Market. Flowers are also available at the farm stand (located on the farm at 2840 Pleasantville Road in Fallston, Maryland) from March through October (or the first winter frost). This spring we are selling simple $10 bouquets from the farm stand everyday. These can be purchased through our website. In July, we will open a more extensive stand that will be open on Fridays and Saturdays only. We are happy to provide stems for your special events, including, for example, birthdays, DIY weddings, anniversaries and dinner parties.
