Ok, first & most important - I am not losing my job. HOWEVER, the discussion today was that since things are slowing down anyway my boss is encouraging me to work on ramping up my business. I'll be stepping back to a part time position when I can, and focusing more on the artistic/photography needs of the business instead of the pulling/packing I currently do (I'm primarily their USPS guru).
That all said - I would greatly appreciate the help of each and every one of you that see this.
How can you help?
1. Follow my business Squirrelcat Designs both on fb & instagram.
2. SHARE my business posts - even if you aren't in my area, you likely have friends/family who are or who know someone who is.
3. If you're in the greater New England area (believe me, I will travel if it's the right fit!) - consider hiring me, or if you know someone looking for a service I provide, encourage them to contact me and potentially hire me.

Also, if anyone knows of any grants or the like for female businesses, especially those in the arts, please send the info my way.

Happy New Year!
Some changes are coming in 2024 - our website will be updated to include a page with TOS and updated policies. We are also, like most businesses, having to increase our prices due to cost of supplies. More changes will be announced as I get to them - it's only the first day of a brand new year!!! :)

This Saturday (well, really you should always do this) don't forget to SHOP SMALL! Those of us with small business could really use the business: I offer gift cards, henna kits or cones, gem clusters/unicorn horns (reusable, and can customize), and as soon as supplies come in I'll have stocking stuffer glitter tattoo kits available. I also hand paint ornaments - the perfect custom item for that hard to buy for person on your list.

Really needed to post these about two weeks ago, lol. Some pics from my business trip to Kapital KidVention in Alexandria, VA.
This was my first time back since literally right before the covid lockdown. It was great seeing old friends, making new, and making new business contacts that are in my area.
Learned a lot of new information, tips, and techniques, and looking forward to putting them all to use this season.
