"Man must know that his power lies in the stillness of his centering Self and not in the motion by means of which he manifests that stillness. He must know that his Self is God in him."--Walter Russell

"You need music, I dont know why. It's probably one of those Joseph Campbell questions, why we need ritual. We need magic and bliss, and power and myth, and celebration and religion in our lives and music is a good way to encapsulate a lot of it. Magic is what we do. Music is how we do it." — Jerry Garcia

Planet parade: is it dangerous? 😱

On June 3, 2024, we’ll see six planets – Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune – together in the sky. The event is called planetary alignment, or planet parade.

Throughout history, there have been various superstitions and beliefs associating planetary alignments with potential dangers or disasters:

🌊In 489, when the Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Mercury aligned, astrologers thought there would be a worldwide flood, as in the days of Noah (later, they decided that since Saturn was missing, disaster would be avoided).

🌋In 582, mankind was threatened with the total end of the world because of the planetary alignment (as we can see, it never happened).

💥In 1962, a few months after the planet parade (featuring Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn), the Cuban Missile Crisis broke out, which almost ended in a nuclear catastrophe (however, its reasons were unlikely to have anything to do with the position of the planets).

🪐And in the 1970s, British astrophysicist John Gribbin published several papers on the negative impact of planets, especially Jupiter, on the climate and magnetic field of the Earth and the Sun. The scientist predicted a great earthquake on the San Andreas Fault and other terrible cataclysms that would happen in 1982, when all the nine Solar System planets – Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – would align.

His predictions did not come true, so he dropped his theory. However, by that time the ominous aura had already taken hold of the planetary alignments, and they’ve became associated with tsunamis, earthquakes, and other global disasters. This nonsense has been repeatedly debunked.

So, should we be afraid of planet parades? Of course, no. Planetary alignments are just cool stargazing events, which do not affect human life. Sadly, bad things just happen on their own and are very hard to predict.

Are you going to observe the planetary alignment on June 3? And do you believe in the connection between planet parades and events on the Earth? Share your thoughts 💌

The word "hallelujah" has its roots in the Hebrew language, derived from the phrase "hallelu-yah," which translates to "praise ye Yah" or "praise the Lord." It is a joyous exclamation, a call to lift our spirits to the Most High and offer thanks for the blessings bestowed upon us. For true believers, uttering "hallelujah" is a song of reverence, a recognition of the divine presence in our lives and the world around us.

What I find particularly beautiful about the concept of "hallelujah" is its accessibility to all, regardless of faith or denomination. It transcends the boundaries of religion and culture, resonating with the universal human experience of awe, wonder, and gratitude. In a world that often feels divided by differences, "hallelujah" serves as a reminder of the common threads that bind us together—the desire to connect with something greater than ourselves and to express our appreciation for the miracles of existence.

In creating this piece, I sought to capture the essence of that universal pause, that moment when we lift our hearts and voices in joyful praise. The vibrant colors and dynamic composition are a reflection of the energy and exuberance that come from a soul filled with gratitude. The central figure, with arms outstretched and face turned upward, embodies the physical and emotional expression of "hallelujah," a gesture that is at once deeply personal and wholly universal.

"Hallelujah" is not only a word or a song but also a state of being. It is a conscious choice to embrace the beauty and mystery of life, to acknowledge the divine spark within ourselves and others, and to celebrate the countless blessings that surround us. In a world that can often feel chaotic and uncertain, the act of raising our spirits in praise and gratitude is a powerful reminder of the resilience and unity of the human spirit, in the light of Divine Love.

“There is many a one whose eye is awake
but whose heart is asleep.
What, in truth, should be seen
by the eyes of creatures of water and clay?
The one who keeps her heart awake,
though the eyes of her head may sleep,
her heart will open a hundred eyes.”

The torus....
- is always centered by a point of stillness (singularity/equilibrium)
- has a vertical axis of rotation at its center
- receives and transmits energy
- is recyclable and self-sustained
- is made of the same medium in which it arises (energy of the vacuum)
- distributes and shares energy through themselves and their surroundings
- exists both as an independent entity and as an integrated part of a larger whole

When you wake up each morning, tell yourself,
"I cannot control the world without,
but I can control the world within
and transform it into the most beautiful place possible,
by controlling what I allow to enter my heart,
and by choosing what I make of it,
and then through my example and perspective,
the outside world will begin to change."
