Part of the allure of The Mill as 'wedding venue' is found in the imperfections of the physical building itself. Since 1838 she has accumulated her fair share of scars and wounds- broken bricks, cracks in concrete, bending beams, bits of scrap metal still affixed to the side of the building after 185yrs- time, gravity, flood, fire, and storm have done their darndest to crumble this place down to the ground, but you know what, she's still standing. Our hope is that the vows exchanged here will share a similar story.

Thankful for this little family right here! This is the team behind the scenes yall! If you've gotten married here at the Mill, hosted a bday party or baby shower with us, or just come through for a tour- chances are 100% you have seen one of these faces and more than likely all of us together. It can be a little inefficient setting up ceremony seating for 100 guests with two littles knocking down every other chair you put up, but couldn't have it any other way and wouldn't want to try. Life is fleeting yall you gotta squeeze every moment out and juice it for all its worth. Happy thanksgving and cheers from the little family behind The Farmville Mill Inc. c. 1838.
