My mom would take us to Zen Palate in Westbury, NY when I was little, and in Zurich, Switzerland I ate at the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world, Hiltl established 1898. When visiting NYC with my mother in-law we enjoyed upscale vegan at Candle 79.
