Meet Ashley W.

Here’s a little bit about her!

I’m originally from Wisconsin! I moved around in Florida for a few years after high school and landed in North Carolina in 2018!

My zodiac sign is a Leo and I’d have to say it fits me to a tee. I am very loyal and creative, very driven and action oriented!

Favorite beverage hands down is yellow redbull. I think I should be sponsored by now or something. You’ll never catch me wedding day (or any day) without one!

Favorite wedding moment would have to be a father daughter first look. I can’t wait for that sweet moment of my own.

I am a mom to 3 wild boys so I’m constantly on the go. The way I slow down is with a good book - mostly thrillers but love to cleanse the palette with a romcom here and there. Also a Disney puzzle addict!

Where are you from originally and when did you arrive in Charlotte?

I’m originally from Raleigh, NC, and made my way to Wilmington to live with a close friend. Little did I know, it was there that I’d meet my fiancé! After falling in love, we decided to move to Charlotte in September 2023 to be closer to his family in Gastonia. It’s been such an exciting change, and we’ve loved settling into the vibrant energy of Charlotte!

What is your zodiac sign and how do you relate to it?

I’m an Aries, and I absolutely relate to the energy, confidence, and adaptability of my sign. As a wedding planner, I thrive in fast-paced environments, love solving problems on the fly, and stay focused on making sure everything runs smoothly. Aries are known for being passionate and driven, which fits perfectly with my ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping everything organized and on track.

What’s your favorite beverage (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic)?

My favorite alcoholic drink is an espresso martini—perfect for a little indulgence and a pick-me-up. For non-alcoholic, nothing beats a crisp, refreshing Coke. There’s just something about it that feels like a little moment of joy!

What’s your favorite moment at weddings?

The first look is definitely my favorite moment at weddings. There’s something so intimate and special about that quiet moment between the couple before everything gets busy. It’s raw, emotional, and truly magical, filled with love, excitement, and often a few happy tears. Watching the couple’s reactions—whether it’s surprise, joy, or even laughter—reminds me why I love being part of these incredible moments.

Any other facts you want to share (other hobbies, pet lover, etc.)?

I’m a homebody at heart and love spending time with my fiancé and our two golden doodle pups. When I’m not wedding planning, you’ll usually find me relaxing at home, catching up on a good show, or spending time with my mom. I still love trying new restaurants and traveling when I get the chance, but I’m just as happy having a cozy night in with my favorite people (and pups!).

Where are you from originally and when did you arrive in Charlotte?

Originally from Westchester, NY. I have been in Charlotte since 2018.

What is your zodiac sign and how do you relate to it?

Aquarius’s are known to be independent, friendly and creative. We tend to march to the beat of our own drum, so to speak. I find myself always trying to live life that way - navigating and learning as I go.

What’s your favorite beverage (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic)?

Chocolate milk or a chai latte...YUM.

What’s your favorite moment at weddings?

Private vows and first looks get me every single time.

Any other facts you want to share (other hobbies, pet lover, etc)?

I am a 500 hour registered yoga teacher, I love to travel and my golden doodle Luna is my best friend.

Where are you from originally and when did you arrive in Charlotte?

I’m originally from southern Georgia. I lived in Savannah before moving to Charlotte in 2001.

What is your zodiac sign and how do you relate to it?

I don’t dive into astrology but I am an aquarius. They say we are independent and creative. I believe they are right! I’m definitely a Jack of all trades kind of gal.

What’s your favorite beverage (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic)?

I love hot tea and a couple times a year I’ll enjoy a hot toddy or a Manhattan!

What’s your favorite moment at weddings?

The CAKE haha! I also love the dancing and live music, if any. I remember at my aunt’s wedding twenty years ago, she had the Auburn Knights Jazz Ensemble play and I got to dance with the lead singer. He was such a Michael Buble! Swoons.

Any other facts you want to share (other hobbies, pet lover, etc)?

I love creating floral arrangements and short films. Video editing is a strong passion of mine. I’ve been a dance teacher since 2005 and I try to hike as much as possible as well as kayak and play the violin. I love animals, especially black cats. Hello to my kitties Professor and Dalton.

Allow me to re-introduce myself!

I’m Casey and I’m the owner and lead planner and florist for Radiant Bliss Designs!

When you inquire for planning, coordinating or floral design services, you will most likely speak with me and I’ll there for you every step of the way!

As we have a brief break before the fall season, I will post about our team starting with me!

I’m originally from Manassas, VA and moved to Charlotte in May 2017 for my husband’s job!

I am a Ta**us so I’m a stubborn and bull headed but I’m fiercely loyal to those I trust and care for!

My favorite alcoholic beverage is an Appletini! Something about the tartness and sweetness gets to me, especially with caramel vodka! My favorite non-alcoholic beverage is a Shirley Temple but with ginger ale and grenadine NOT sprite!

My favorite moment at weddings are first dances. You really get to see the couple enjoy each other in that moment!

Lastly, I’m a dog lover! So much so that my business is named after my lab mix, Bliss! I have 2 other dogs, a German Shepherd named Loki and a husky named Rebel!
