I told ya we had something exciting planned for Tumbleweed+! We have an official page.! Please like it and our YouTube channel so you are connected to our announcements, news, and broadcasting of live events! In fact, on Thursday, we practiced broadcasting the Panther Fort Stockton Football scrimmage and the students did a FANTASTIC job! We will be at all the home games with a student-led broadcast. Our goal is to cover all of the events at FSHS.
It's an understatement to say I'm overjoyed and proud of the opportunities this has unlocked for my students.
They have learned so much in the last 2 weeks!
It's a game-changer.
Buckle up Fort Stockton! This is going to be an amazing ride !

Tumbleweed used to be the name of the Fort Stockton High School newspaper which discontinued around 2014.
Tumbleweed Plus is a student-led broadcasting program for daily announcements, news, and school sports.

Good morning,
As you may know, Sanderson was hit by a tornado on Sunday, June 2nd. The school was not hit but, their families and businesses were affected by the tornado. I approached their superintendent and asked for a school supply list so that others might donate for the upcoming school year so that the families of Sanderson would have one burden eased off of them. Below is an Amazon link to a 'wish list'. All items purchased off this list will be sent to my home and then, I will take supplies to Sanderson and give them directly to the school.

The FSHS 'Shattered Dreams project is finished. Many thanks to everyone who helped, participated, filmed, and made this project happen. A special thank you to our Texas DPS troopers who helped make everything happen. The planning is immense for a project of this size. To our local law enforcement agencies, Pecos County Justice of the Peace Pecos County EMS Pecos County Sheriff's Office Fort Stockton Police Department, Fort Stockton High School - FSISD, Department of Transportation, Fort Stockton Volunteer Fire Department, Eternity Funeral Home, the Donut Palace, and Affordable Towing - Andres Macias for getting the vehicles to us and helping us make this as realistic as possible.
I always say that if a video like this makes a difference in one life, all our efforts, planning, organization, and completing the project are worth it. I always tell my students to call me, text me, or contact me in any way they can if they ever find themselves in a situation that is not safe and I will gladly pick them up and take them safely home. I have students who have called before and students tell me all the time that they know that they can count on me. That is all that matters. Please get home safe and rethink what you do when you are behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Fort Stockton Community. This will be happening TUES May 14th. PSA / NEWS - Fort Stockton High School is hosting "Shattered Dreams" on Tuesday, May 14th, at Rio Street. The event will feature a dramatic reenactment of a traffic accident involving multiple vehicles and victims. Expect a significant law enforcement presence, along with other emergency vehicles and spectators. To ensure safety, it's advised to steer clear of the area from 9 am to 12 noon on May 14th.

Hello! Yearbook sales are officially complete at FSHS. Thank you for supporting our students and yearbook. We have had a record year with sales.
The yearbooks should be here by May 8th and will be handed out at school.
You may still order online but, it is as if you are ordering your own yearbook.

FSHS Yearbooks will not be sold after April 5th (FRIDAY). You may buy online but, it will cost you more. $50.00 for 9 - 11 graders and 40.00 for 12th graders at school only. Cash, check, and cash app are accepted at school. Please message me for cash app info.
