Today, we're spotlighting Kendra E., Public Events Coordinator. In her role, she works with clients from all kinds of events in the pre-planning, ex*****on and post-event stages. Kendra has a connection to WRMC beyond just working here. She showed her cattle here as a youth; her passion for this special place & the events that call it home shines bright! Her heart for the facility, agriculture industry and serving others is a terrific asset and we're glad to have her on board. Outside of work, she’s completed over 20 triathlons and helps run her family’s cattle operation, selling to producers and youth across the nation.

Our team here at Will Rogers Memorial Center extends our deepest compassion and support to all those who continue to be heartbroken by the devastating flooding disaster in Central Texas. Tragedies like this remind us how connected we are. Texas is a big state, but it feels a lot smaller when we realize how many of us personally know someone impacted.

Our dedicated Fort Worth Fire and Police Departments have been soliciting donations of supplies from the community and City employees and will continue to do so through the end of this week. Please visit their pages for donation items needed.

January 29, 1954 – Legendary rider Buster Welch claimed victory at the American Quarter Horse Cutting Horse Contest right here at the Will Rogers Memorial Center.

In this photo, taken at our original cattle barns from the 1940s, Buster is riding 5-year-old mare, Marions Girl.
