Returning to one of our most special destinations today, Puerto Vallarta.

Here's the story I would like to share with all current + future destination wedding couples; The resort we selected for our wedding last year included a photographer in their wedding package. However, I wasn't sold on their style, so I decided to hire a local, off-site photographer instead. (AMAZING)

Since the resort package still included the original photographer, we used them for our welcome party and candid shots on the wedding day. Fast forward a couple of months, and we received devastating news that the resort had lost all of those photos. To make up for it, they offered us one complimentary night, which I negotiated into four-because wedding photography is no small expense!

Now, here we are, flying back to enjoy those days together. I'm so grateful I trusted my instincts and hired another photographer because otherwise, we wouldn't have any professional photos to cherish.
