Meet our Musicians! 🎸🎷🎶
We are thrilled to welcome two new acts this year to Blues, Brews, and Brats!
Hailed as Detroit’s Prince Of Blues, Chris Canas has been amazing audiences since he was 15 years old. Chris has been nominated for 8 Detroit Music Awards including Outstanding Blues vocalist, Outstanding Blues Band, Outstanding Blues Recording, Outstanding Blues Artist, Outstanding Blues Instrumentalist, and more. Chris has also been nominated for numerous Detroit Black Music Awards as well. In addition to the nominations, Chris has also competed and won 7 regional blues challenges, as well as appeared 6 times in the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis, TN. They reached the top of the mountain in 2020 at the IBC to become an elite Blues Challenge Finalist ranking number 4 out of the top 200 bands that compete in Memphis.
Please join us as we welcome Chris Canas to the Fremont Community Amphitheater stage on Saturday, August 17th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
