I am continually in awe of my husband Roy and his dedication to 'walking the walk', or in this case, 'rowing the row,' in support of the metal health of our veteran community, and well, his continued ability to 'one up' his methods of doing so. And, of course, his belief that even his body, after 31-years active duty, can do anything it sets out to do. 😉 True story, I married a crazy, albeit incredible, man.
I am sure the phrase 'fair winds and following seas' will begin to take on a much deeper meaning over the next year. 🌊
The below announcement was posted by the aforementioned husband, last night. Oh, and yes, it does mean we will be coming to you for monetary and/or service (attorney+accountant for setting up and tracking the non-profit) donations over the next year. 15 Landsdowne will also be hosting some amazing pop-up dinners for 'the cause'. Whether you are looking to become a sponsor, or simply donate $20 to the cause, we will have ways for you to become part of this epic challenge.

📢 Exciting Announcement 📢
We are thrilled to announce the creation of a remarkable team of four Army Rangers who will be taking on the incredible challenge of the World's Toughest Row – Pacific 2025. 💪🚣♂️
May I present to you Team “RangeOARs Lead The Way”
Introducing our dedicated and courageous team members who will be embarking on this awe-inspiring journey: Myself, Chris K***z, Jere Hartman, and Michael Kendall.
Together, on June 8th, 2025, we will be rowing a staggering 2800 nautical miles, unassisted from Monterey, California to the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii. 🌊🌴 We are certainly blessed to have Chris on board. Chris completed the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge (now World’s Toughest Row) 3000nm Atlantic Challenge in 2018.
Our mission is not only to test our limits but also to raise funds for deserving veteran organizations. We believe in giving back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country, especially in the realm of mental health and fitness. 🇺🇸
None of this could be possible without the invaluable support of our families and our Ranger brother Guy Philips, who, as a matter of fact recently completed the World’s Toughest Row- Atlantic 2023 Challenge. Guy now owns an ocean-rowing RX45 (pictured below) and has graciously allowed us to row her across another ocean. 🌊
Guy's experience and knowledge gained from rowing 3000 nautical miles from La Gomera to Antigua, alongside Ranger brothers Joe Leach, Craig Foreman, and Dave Figgins, will serve as a wealth of guidance and inspiration as our coach on this remarkable journey. 🌟
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to embark on this extraordinary adventure and invite you to join us in supporting our cause. Stay tuned for updates and ways to contribute to our fundraising efforts! Together, we can make a difference for our deserving veterans. 🎗️
