Katie and Mike weren’t expecting a snowy wedding in May, but that’s exactly what they got! Their Colorado elopement was a true testament of the wiiiiild and unpredictable magic of mountain weather! One minute it’s spring, and the next, we’re wrapped in a blanket of snow. Luckily, love knows no seasons and Colorado is always beautiful

When Matt and Alli were pregnant with their first baby, Holland, I was actually one of the first people to find out! I had just moved to Colorado and I was going backpacking with them. I thought it would be funnnn to bring a full size bottle of champagne with us to celebrate the trip, but before committing to the extra (and unnecessary) weight, I wanted to make sure someone else would drink it with me. So I asked Alli, “if I bring a bottle of champagne, will you drink it with me??” I thought she’d be excited, but she gave me some wishy washy answer. Me being me, pushed her a little more to say yes, of course, I would love nothing more than to drink champagne with you in the middle of the woods!! Instead she said “I’m pregnant!!” and the champagne was left behind lol

A couple months later, Alli asked if I would take their pregnancy announcement photos! I jumped at the chance! I think she just wanted me to take some iPhone picture for them, but I INSISTED on renting a camera, even though I had basically no clue what I was doing at the time. I stubbornly had to shoot in manual so my settings were all over the place and once the photos were downloaded, I had no clue how to edit them! But we made do!

It’s crazy to look back at those photos and see all the change and growth. Their first pregnancy. My very first session ever. Matt and Alli are now Matt + Alli + Holland with their second baby girl on the way 💕 Alli and Matt, congratulations on the next chapter, and thank you for continuing to invite me along to share and capture memories through your journey! It’s been the best 🥹

🤍🖤 The Minas 🖤🤍

Vince proposed to Yesi while riding at a resort in California, and then, just a few months before their big day, they decided they wanted to elope the same way, riding the slopes in Colorado!!

I was over the moon when I got a message from Yesi telling me they had this crazy idea and asking if I could help make it happen! And, if you know me, you know I’m always all in on an adventure!! So we set out to planning the most epic day.

Yesi + Vince met with me at sunrise for their first look and some portraits, then we made our way over to Breckenridge for the ceremony and some fun! We took the lift to our run and found the perfect spot, where these two lovebirds promised to love each other always and sealed it with a kiss and their first run together as husband and wife! And honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better day! A beautiful sunrise, snowy mountains, champagne pops, tequila shots, a comfy bluebird day shredding with friends, and a lot of love make for theeeee PERFECT elopement day, after all!

Basically, what I’m saying is…
Be like Yesi + Vince. Plan the day that’s perfect for you, whatever that looks like…and then hire me to capture it for you 😉

This entire week was a blast! We arrived in paradise a few days early 🇧🇿 Belize has a 72 hour waiting period after arrival in the country before you can sign your marriage license, but I don’t think anyone minded as the days leading to the wedding were filled with beach hangs, the best drinks (try a blended coconut mojito…you won’t regret it!!!), so much ceviche, and a boat day for spear fishing to catch dinner for the wedding day!!! 🏝☀️🕶 🚤🎣🍹

Everything about this trip and elopement was go with the flow and such low stress, which is one of my favorite things about elopements for my couples and the people invited to attend!!! It makes it so much easier to focus on the reason everyone is there in the first place… ✨love✨

Thank you to these two cool cats for having me along and trusting me with their memories. It’s always an honor 🥰

Kicked off my wedding season with these two lovers and their family and friends! This was the kind of wedding and love that inspires! There was no shortage of smiles, love, or tears (the happy kind of course), and I’m so happy to have been there to capture it all!

Blayne + Ryan ✨

I had theeeeee best time hanging with these lovers the other night taking their engagements! We started our evening at Outer Range in Frisco and spent some time chatting, drinking delish beers, and of course, grabbing a few photos at the brewery 🍻 Outer Range is easily one of the best in Summit County and the vibes are so chillllllll 🙃

Afterwards, we made our way outside for some nature hangs and enjoyed stunning mountain views and the last bit of sun 🤩

I’m always so happy when I get to spend some time with my couples before the wedding day! It gives us a chance to get to know each other a bit more, gets you more comfortable in front of the camera, allows me to see how you interact as a couple, and gives YOU the chance to see how I am behind the camera! If you already took engagement photos but still want a chance to meet in person, I’d love to meet up for coffee or a drink when I’m in your area, or you’re in mine!

Seriously obsessed with these two and their love! Counting down the days to wedding day 😆 it’s coming up quick!!!

It’s been an insanely busy couple of months, but I’m excited to start sharing some of what I’ve been working on, starting with this beautiful couple in this gorgeous location 🤩🔥✨

It’s hard to beat the wild, rugged desert that is Southern Utah. There are sooo many gems, but one of my all time favorites is Moab!

The landscape is truly epic, and its offerings are endless! You may see massive arches, snaking rivers, expansive canyons, impressive rock formations, or breathtaking snow capped mountains depending which direction you look!

The desert is a great option if you love the vibes of the wild west and it’s perfect for exploring any time of the year! It’s been an insanely busy couple of months, but I’m excited to start sharing some of what I’ve been working on, starting with these two love birds on their elopement day!!!

I instantly loved Amy and Gino and their love story the first time I spoke with Amy over the phone! They’re such a badass couple and their wedding day reflects that!

They met and fell in love on a road trip to Bonnaroo and continued to cultivate a beautiful love despite the distance from Arizona to Florida 🌵🖤🌴 Amy shared that Tom’s Thumb was the first place they hiked together in Arizona before she made the move out west, so no better place to vow to love each other forever and share their first kiss as husband and wife! Even more special that they got to do this with their sweet babe Ant, who they took turns carrying up and down this almost 5 mile hike! Did I mention they’re badasses?! 🤩🙌🏼

Forever grateful to have been invited to witness your love and so honored to have been there as your photographer, officiant, and now friend ❤️❤️❤️
