Need a great christmas gift? I still have 1/2 a pig available! Goes to the butcher this weekend. Fed only organic grain, local apples and pumpkins, and food scraps from many local restaurants.

We have 11 Katahdin ewes that we bred this fall, and hope to offer many lamb share offers in the fall of 2025. If you haven’t had a lot of lamb, this is a great starter- since their meat tends to be milder and more tender. These sheep are so sweet and have great personalities- we love them so much!

This year was our first year with honey bees. We have had a hard season, but I’m hoping we survive winter and that we will hit the ground running in spring!

Anyone who has bought eggs in our farm stand, knows that we have ducks! These ducks are a breed called “golden 300” known for their egg laying skills and docile nature.

Meet Jill aka Jilly bean 🐐 she’s a total mommas girl and mischief maker! This year, we hope to breed this little lady and produce some of our first ever goats milk next spring! So exciting. Now, to try and convince her to stay still in a milk stand… we will see!

Wow! So excited about how amazing our first CSA order pick up trial has gone! We set up over 10 orders (which I posted about last minute…) for pick up today, and I’m sure next year will only be better! Thanks everyone!

Fall morning projects ❤️🍂

With the season ending and my energy to keep canning and freezing food dwindling as I reach closer to my due date, I’m thinking about doing a large harvest and doing a CSA style “end of season harvest basket” of our Honey & Stem Farm fall goodies.
I’m thinking $30 worth of fall produce which may consist of carrots, leeks, turnips, lettuce mix, chard, kale, herbs, celery,beets,and maybe bone broth…. In a paper bag for pick up.
Would you be interested? If so, comment and I’ll work on it! I’m thinking pick up at 77 smith street farm stand on Friday or Saturday, to be determined by how many people say yes!

This year with the addition of our honey bees, we have had a huge amount of apples produced from our three crab apple trees. Im so excited to to taste this years pork, which will be finished on apples 🍎
