Good evening everyone. I know it's been a few months since I posted anything. I did decide to get out of the food truck business, but I will go back to doing what I love, which is collaborating with other small businesses via small business showcases. I previously coordinated events at Bo Diddley Plaza, One Love Cafe, the Oaks Mall and other local venues. I have a few events coming up starting in November. I am looking for hand-made craft vendors and home-baked goods. The fee is only $30 per event. Please contact me for more information.

Hello everyone. When I started Cereal Rush in 2021, it was out of necessity. My income from grocery shopping had significantly decreased by almost 90%. I had just purchased a new house and I needed the income to support my daughter. I am a single mom and need flexibility so that I can be a support system to my daughter. I started the business because I knew I could work when I needed to and take off when I needed. I have made a lot of sacrifices. It has been an uphill battle to grow a business when you are in survival mode. I have lost a lot financially, but I have gained so much more. For that reason, I have decided to temporarily close my food truck. This is not the end. We will be back better and bigger than ever. This is the beginning of a new chapter in my book. Thank you to everyone that has supported us. I would not trade this journey for anything. I have cried and laughed. I have met a lot of wonderful people. I have worked with some great people. I have been mentored by a lot of small businesses who gave of their knowledge and experience. I appreciate every one of you. Entrepreneurship is hard work but also very rewarding. I am not giving up. I am regrouping.
