Happily engaged in a never-ending search to deftly deliver the best beat, the elusive Trax-u-lax trailblazer and mashup maestro Dillon Rose is not to be missed. A disciple of the acclaimed Dill-du-Jour school of thought, Dillon finds no limits when it comes to providing a fresh batch of tunes to enjoy. Whether you catch him dropping international bass at a local Gainesville nightclub,

mixing underground disco at a sailor bar in Brooklyn, or performing humorous, alternative hip-hop at a dingy DIY space somewhere up the east coast, you can always expect an unconventional yet old-school approach to his DJ sets. Turntables at his side, this seasoned record wrangler finds delight in taking audiences to a new level of musical bliss by sharing his vast knowledge of all things rhythmic and groovy. (all of my work history/experience/info recently disappeared when FB updated this page’s layout, so please bear with me as I update my page as best I can. Calling all fae, elves, goblins, and kin! The final of 2024 is here to celebrate the winter solstice! DARK SPARKLE is Saturday, December 21st @ The Midnight.

Their fresh new floors will be christened with the dark electronic beats provided by DJs and me, Baby Goth Back, .

We also have three amazing bands joining us:
from Miami, and locals , & .
L.U.S.T. played to a PACKED room here recently at The Midnight as an opener for Kontravoid, and rocked everyone with sensual vocals and dark, hypnotic beats.

As always, we will have local artists and vendors to entice you with their wares including , , and with Dragon Tarot offering magical insight into your fantasy world! Plus, will be doing hair sparkles!

Advanced tickets are for sale via the link below, $12 adv/$15 day of. Doors open into the magical realm at 9pm. This event is for ages 18 and up.

Lots of Non-alcoholic and alcoholic concoctions will be available, plus a limited food menu from The Midnight kitchen. ADA accessible entry and gender-neutral bathrooms. Q***r, BIPOC, and Trans safe space - Goth is for everyone!!

Costume theme: think Labyrinth ball, but make it goth. Fairies, elves, goblins, and all fantasy creatures of the realm are invited to get sparkly for this winter ball!

Dark Desires - Neon Sensuality was a big success this past weekend!!! Picture album links to come soon! Thank you soooo much to all that attended and bathed and danced in our blacklights. Many thanks to HOW BAZAR for hosting our event on short notice, after we had to find a temporary new venue due to hurricane delayed construction at our usual spot The Midnight.

In just two weeks time, Wild Creatrix and I will be back in our familiar underground abode with Goths next dark dance party:

This event will be somewhat different than our previous ones since we have two huge touring acts coming to grace our stage. Be sure though, there will still be bangin' dark DJ sets from Wild Creatrix and Baby Goth Back, as well as a host of other offerings like a photobooth, vendors, VIP experience, games, prizes, and more! Dark Futures recap! If you missed the fun, we are doing a theme night every month at The Midnight! These events have meaningful goals of being a space to play safely, to feel included, and to build community. Dancing is healing and supports mental health. These are love letters to Gainesville. They are the newest creative output from me and @wild_creatrix. It's more than a standard DJ dance night. It's an experience! Join us Saturday, July 27th for Dark Circus!
