🚨 A customer called us today after experiencing a frustrating situation with an online order service (you know, those companies that just take your order and find a florist, while pocketing part of what you paid). They had ordered flowers in advance for Valentine’s Day, only for the company to cancel the order TODAY. 😳

❤️ We're so happy to step in and make sure his wife gets the beautiful bouquet she deserves on Valentine’s Day. ❤️

We know grocery store flowers can be more affordable, but they’re often days old and won’t last as long once they reach your home. Our flowers, on the other hand, are arranged with care and love, ensuring they stay fresh longer. 🌹

Today is especially close to my heart, both literally and figuratively. Seven years ago, the first picture posted was of my sweet baby wearing a onesie to raise awareness for her mommy (me). Now, both of us are healthy, and I am beyond grateful every day that I get to watch her and her little brother grow up. I came very close to not being able to. A week after delivering Della, I was diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy. I wish I had known more about this potential pregnancy-related illness so I could have better advocated for myself and recognized the warning signs. I’m so thankful that I fully recovered and have had no lingering issues (and hopefully never will). My heart baby, along with her brother, healed my heart and continues to heal my heart every single day. Last picture is my girl and I before the first cookie booth for Girl Scouts this week.

Today, Dana and I are wearing red for Go Red for Women on National Wear Red day! I try to share this flyer that goes over warning signs of peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM). Mine started as preeclampsia and turned into PPCM. Be aware, advocate for yourself! If you wore your red today, share a picture in the comments!

🌹🎵You know I’m all about that Vase,
about that Vase 🎵

(Welcome to the tune that has been in my head for the weeks I’ve been meaning to post this)

Anyways…I’ve been meaning to post and ask if anyone has some standard vases that you typically donate to goodwill or have in a cabinet taking up space, we love to upcycle! If you bring in a vase that we can use, you will get a $1 credit per vase!

We can take them up until Tuesday next week. If not by Tuesday, you can bring them after Valentine’s Day!

This offer is available all year long 🙂 just make sure you mention it at drop off and we have to be able to use the vase (some are too small/large, etc) and approve.

When you purchase flowers through companies like 1800Flowers, flowers.com, etc. you aren’t getting the full value you pay? They take out a percentage to send the order to florists in the area, so if you pay $120, a florist who takes that order (we don’t accept wire orders) you may get $75-$80 to make your arrangement. Your orders also aren’t guaranteed. I had several people call on Valentines Day saying they needed flowers sent because the corporate company they used cancelled their order that day.

Shop local, call your florists directly or order on their direct website.

I’m always so humbled and grateful when I receive an order to pay tribute to a loved one. It gives me pause and chills when it happens in the way it did this weekend. On Thursday, going into a snow filled weekend, knowing we would be closed Friday and Saturday, something told me to order more flowers than I needed (well over what I needed). I hesitated at first but decided to trust. It may not sound like much, but with low to no chance of selling 6 dozen roses, that is a lot for my small business. Friday morning, I received a call for this floral tribute for a beautiful woman who was so loved.
Sending love to her family and I hope she smiled upon the flowers as her family and friends said goodbye to her physical body and celebrated her Heavenly welcome.
