After taking the curriculum and instruction classes this past 10 week accelerated semester at Arizona Christian University. I learned more about writing a curriculum for school districts in three different states.

Curriculum writing isn’t hard as people make it to be but it is very thorough and it is an extensive process.

While I’m learning this one day in class. One day at the job, The Holy Spirit speak something very simple: “Create a culinary art curriculum for Christian Schools, homeschools and public schools districts from the 4 Y.O.R. SOUL. Catering Recipe Book.”

Being honest, I never thought of doing this before until last week when The Holy Spirit spoke it to me. After praying first and then getting the complete instructions and format from God and learning what I learned in the class… then doing a couple days of research on different schools districts in various states, even here in Texas, after work.

Along with talking with my brothers in Christ at church about it. I put into action what Jesus Christ said to do. All of this is for His Glory and for Kingdom of God reasons alone. Now I understand one of the reason why I was taking the curriculum and instruction class.

I am grateful to God for the culinary food industry. I love being apart of it. I am also grateful to God for being in education and athletic coaching. There is alway a desire to do something more in the these to fields of work within my heart, but God had to show me as I worked diligently.

That’s being said, with great humility and honor the Jesus Christ, to say that 4 Y.O.R SOUL has a culinary arts curriculum that can be used in various schools across the country.

This culinary arts curriculum includes: quizzes, midterms exams, a final exam, and most of all a couple recipes teachers can teach and prepare with their culinary or homemaking students in class. Teacher can divide this curriculum to fit what they desire to teach in their classes for the school year.

Just to see something, I was at a restaurant to see what would be their catering price for 15-20 people.

They asked me what I would like to serve the guess and what time I needed the food at the event… and what their service time (hour of serving time) would be and what they cost would be if I wanted them to deliver it and drop it off.

I gave them a very very basic menu.

After I explained what I needed and they explained their service fees and chargers this is what the total was as you can see here on the receipt 🧾

Small business owners, do not limit yourself and do not lower your prices and the integrity of your business for absolutely “NO ONE”.

People will pay other all this money but try their best to devalue you and the business God blessed have and build.

Keep your integrity and class in public and behind the scenes. Ensure you serve good quality products. Do what’s right at all times, but do not lower you standards of business nor prices.
