Any time a moist and damp forecast rears its ugly head before an event we must post the following:
RIT FAQ: hi, um…will you cancel the (insert event name here) event if it rains?
RIT Frequently Answered Answer: HECK NO!!!! If it does rain, we will probably get wet and have a great time running and drinking beer (with proper ID) in the rain, creating great memories for ourselves and our running/walking brothers and sisters. We will take pictures of you running in the rain and drinking your beer (with proper ID) at the post race party and we will upload those to our FB page and you can look at them and reminisce and download them when you are done reminiscing. We will have a great time RAIN OR SHINE! (all the while keeping runner safety a TOP PRIORITY!) We Texans are a hearty folk who do not sweat a little rain and the folks who happen to not be from Texas feed off of this positivity!
