Don't wear an RIT shirt if breaking any rules or laws.
Laugh at something at mile 25 no matter how much it hurts.

Wisdoms for H-Town 'Thon 2025:
DON'T GO OUT TOO FAST. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Thank the vols at the water stops. Take it all in. If you bonk stay out of everyone's way and get to the finish with a nice race photo smile. Remember where you parked. Reward yourself. Am I missing anything???

We want to wish the best of luck to all the 2025 Bandera (Now Camp Eagle) trail running/ ultra running enthusiasts! ADDITIONALLY, we would like to give a HUGE "BRAVO!!!" and an extra large "WELL DONE!!!" to the Tejas Trails staff for moving a multi distance/ multi DAY/ ultra event on a couple days notice. THAT is as much of an accomplishment (if not more) as finishing the 100K. Pictured is a buckle from the 1st Bandera 100K we found at a pawn shop in Bandera back in 1922. It was $375 so we didnt buy it.

So, in 2025, instead of beginning a running event marketing promo with "LACE UP YOUR SHOES AND SIGN UP FOR....." we are going with "PUT ON YOUR RUNNING CLOTHES AND..." Mainly because we are tired of people showing up n**e on race day.

Howdy!!! We want to let everyone know that we are actively working to get our 2025 calendar and 6-Pack Challenge dates finalized. Also we are hoping to possibly add a new event or two and are waiting on approval for some event dates at specific breweries. Below are dates we have nailed down. We will get individual event pages and sign up pages ready to go. Shortly after that, we will post a final Run in Texas 5K Six-Pack Challenge page active once we get approval for all dates from all venues. Below are set dates for 2025. If it has a ??? beside it we are waiting on a set date. Keep in mind, one or two could be added. Hopefully this helps you with your 2025 running calendar(s). We also will have some non-brewery 5K runs on the 2025 calendar. We always TRY to keep all events on the same weekend of the month each year.
