Ms. Betty Leeth Haynes and Mr. Roy Drinkard were both honored at the Inaugural Miss Alabama Volunteer and Miss Alabama Teen Volunteer Pageant on Sunday evening at Wallace State Community College.
Ms. Betty Leeth Haynes was crowned as the first honorary Miss Alabama Volunteer. She is 90 years old and was the 1997 Ms. Senior Alabama.
Roy Drinkard was recognized as the oldest living marine in Alabama, and one of the oldest in the world.
