Customers have enjoyed picking their duck this weekend and we have had so much fun. We just love the photo taken by two princesses here. We hope you’ll come out to 2024 Just For Her Event and see what all the fuss is about. There are SO MANY adorable things at vendor booths you’ll wish you could spend a thousand dollars. Plus… air conditioning and no humidity! 😝

I want to say a word about the gummy spaghetti you see in last photo. It is Lucas brand Salsaghetti in watermelon flavor and so so good!!! It was amazing on our Watermelon Punch.

You don’t know what you’re missing!! Get to Mound City before 6pm and you can experience the rebirth of Southern Eats. Chicken tenders, catfish, fries, hushpuppies, Mac and cheese and amazing chocolate chip cookie were all tested out today and the verdict is A+!

Had a marvelous time at the Meadowbrook Park Festival last night and the fishbowl ducks made their debut. We will have the pet ducks at Just for Her in a couple of weeks… garden themed! Also shown is the most fabulous heron. We were enamored!

Hey teacher friends!! This special is for you from our friends Friction Beer Company.

And so do we in downtown Shawnee. So much so that we’ve made Thursdays something other than a sweet precursor to the weekend. It’s when we host “Professional Development” (IYKYK) for teachers so they can enjoy $2 off drafts all night. And this being the week when most schools have ended for the summer, we’re sure they’re extra ready. So come on down! Same goes even if you’re not a teacher! You’ll have our full attention too. Next Thursday we’ll start firing up a new round of trivia, so plan ahead.

Today is a BIG day in the life of our little company. The construction loan was signed, deposits mailed and builder contract signed. Soon we will begin site prep and get some more dirt in here to build our catering kitchen on. Posh Nosh Grazing coming soon…ish! 💗
