🕵 ORDER IN THE COURT 🧑‍⚖️
The North Carolina Society of Surveyors held a mock trial at the Newcombe Event Center! Participants stretched their knowledge and expertise to demonstrate how a court case involving a boundary dispute and surveyors who disagreed over a boundary line dispute might unfold.

The event was meant to educate surveyors as to the application of appropriate boundary law principles. Participants took testimonies and admitted evidence used by attorneys to build their case and undermine the opposition’s case. The audience was divided into individual juries of 6-8 persons each to consider the testimony and evidence and deliberate the case. 👩‍✈️
